Hello, my darling friends!
The request of the day is for ZOMBIES. I am definitely in this mood, and I’ve added quite a few of the below to my TBR pile. I’ve gone a bit over the usual ten-book limit for the post, mostly due to the fact that several books appear in the dystopian lists.
I hope you are all able to find a new to you book!

"To rid this world of evil, I must first Blaze."
History tells of a time long ago when small town scientist Dr Isaacs discovered the cure for cancer.
Great right?
And it was... For a time.
I am one of few remaining immune to a virus created to kill only humans.
Broken, cold-hearted I fight tooth and claw to survive, life in the wastes is harsh every day a battle.
Baby and I give no quarter to those who cross us.
I just want to find and kill the guy who murdered my mother, and kill him... slowly.
But destiny has other ideas for me.
Four men claim I'm theirs, but am I too broken to be with them?
Fate decrees we save the world together, but first we must discover who we really are.
My name is Kayla, and this is a story of how war never changes.
But humankind does.

662 – Days since the dead rose up
413 – Days since I’ve spoken to another living human
4 – Men who have climbed my fence looking for safety
1 – Last chance for Love
Kelsey survived the start of the apocalypse and thrived in the new world with help from her friends but now they’re gone. Alone for over a year and mentally broken with high anxiety, she pushes through every day trying to find the will to keep going. Until three sweet, sexy men and one hot a**hole climbs her fence looking for sanctuary.
With her best friend, Tara haunting her with outrageous antics, she needs to decide if she wants to keep dying a little bit day by day or if she can grab on to what these sexy men offer her and maybe find love.
Also, zombies make a few cameos.
This isn’t a blood and gore zombie novel. It’s full of comedy, over protective men that just want to take care of her and a ton of sexy steam that happens behind a set of double fences.
Linc – Tall and broad with too many muscles to count, he carries the crushing weight of responsibility to see his brothers through safely. Kelsey give him the chance to lay his burdens down and her sweetness and crazy quirks has his body burning to be with her.
Oliver – Calm, cool, in control of his emotions until Kelsey flips all that control on its head and tangles him into knots. Only her sweet, sexy mouth can smooth out those knots so he can find peace.
Grayson – A hard, cut body and dimples a girl would want to lick. His sweetness and charm hides a darker side that takes Kelsey’s desire to the next level.
Devin – Is a dick. Long black hair and ice blue eyes, his attitude hides the devastation and guilt he lives with every moment of every day. He recognizes the darkness in Kelsey and wants her in any way he can have her. Hate sex will work.
The Hens – Snookie, J-Wow, Cardie and the rest are firmly on Kelsey’s crazy train and flock it up every chance they get. They also throw a hell of a dance party. Admiral the cock watches over them all.
Zombies and Sacrificial Slayings. That’s pretty much the news headline every single day now. Like most people, I have no freaking clue why the dead are rising, or what’s causing it. All I know is that my mother is missing, and I want her back. And if this supernatural team of monster hunters can track her down then I will do anything—absolutely anything for them. Even if it means, sharing my soul to do it.
Oh sorry, we haven’t been properly introduced. I’m Evangeline Midnight, and just one month ago I was just your average teenage girl. Just an aspiring tattoo artist ready to graduate high school and go to university. Then we botched a séance, my mother went missing and some powerful necromancer flooded the streets of New Orleans with zombies. It’s a lot, right?
Well, buckle up because it’s not over. In an effort to find my mother, I find a squad full of bodacious hunters. They may think I’m just a sweet and innocent girl who shouldn’t get involved, but that would be naïve of them. I’m going to find my Mama, even if it means putting down the necromancer who stole her and using my inherited ink magic to do it. But just who is this evil man intent on ripping my life apart?
Spoiler alert, the truth hits very close to home.
All alone in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, what could go wrong? The shifters growl, the music throbs, and the magic—the soul of the city—intensifies, revealing a dark and dangerous world where the undead monsters and their makers roam the streets. So, what if I’m one of them?
Warning: This is book one in a steamy reverse harem urban fantasy romance series where there are six guys—well, five guys and one demon, and no choosing required! Expect laughter, sexy polyamorous situations, and kick-ass action with everything from faeries, vamps, dragons and shifters to demons, ghosts and witches. *Kitchen sink excluded. Vivid sexual content and language.
Thoughts from Paige
I loved this book, but I didn't love the change in tenses when the POV changed. But happy day! The author indicated in the updated blurb that the POVs are now aligned so I will dive in for a re-read.
None of us expected to live more than a few days when our friends and family became the walking undead, consumed by the Mortem Mori virus.
The zombie apocalypse came and went, and humans formed a new world in the chaos.
The Bend is a law unto itself. A town on the edge of Haven City, and ruled by greed and fear.
I might be a mercenary, but I'll do anything to protect my people. Our ragtag community looks out for each other. We kill for each other.
When a set of important blueprints goes missing, my boss wants the mess fixed pronto.
The offer is too good to be true.
Find the plans, and he'll buy my freedom.
But there's a catch.
I have to work as part of a team. Four men chosen for their skills. Each one more dangerous than the last and I've had enough of dangerous men to last me a lifetime.
I'll do anything to protect the Bend. But what about protecting my heart?
**Life and Limb is a standalone zombie reverse harem dystopia romance, contains scenes of violence, multi-partner sex, and same-sex relations**
Five dead brothers want me, and I plan to keep them all.
The dead took over the night a year ago, bringing with them terror beyond our wildest dreams. As a scientist and a specialist in DNA, I've been in the thick of it since the very beginning.
Now, however, a new type of zombie has emerged.
They've called it a Zed-Two.
It's stronger, faster, but most importantly, part human. It can shift from human to zombie in the blink of an eye, but also eat half a body in about twice that time.
One was captured, but it escaped. Now my lab seems to have gotten their claws into one.
And I'm the reason why.
He twists shit inside my mind.
The things he can do and the things he makes me feel through the glass...
Then one of his brothers gets himself captured, too.
And all hell breaks loose.
This book features five gorgeous men who fiercely love one woman.
18+ Not intended for readers who do not enjoy a steaming hot good time.
This book was previously published in the Infectious Affections Anthology.
I was once an average college student with dreams of the Olympics. A better future had been within my grasp. I was weeks away from graduating from college, and I had just received my invitation to the National Team. Sure, I was still nursing a broken heart and coming to terms with the betrayal delivered to me at the hands of people I once trusted and loved dearly. However, things were finally looking up.
Or so I thought. The news began to report disturbing stories about a new virus. This virus was turning people. The infected became violent and attacking anybody and everybody.
My plans for a relaxing weekend with my friends and family turned into a nightmare. We were told to evacuate to Sanctuary. On our journey to safety, I run into old friends and find myself becoming attracted to them and their friends. I realized that even in the most harrowing of times, I could find solace and affection.
This may be a whole new world and life wasn’t going to return to normal anytime soon, if ever, but at least I had five men at my side to face it with.
*** Sanctuary is a contemporary, post-apocalyptic reverse harem, why choose series. This book contains some triggering content that may be sensitive to some readers. ***
Most people don't think about where they're going to be when the world ends. On the beach drinking margaritas? In the arms of a lover?
How about in a shit-ass resort run by your shit-ass parents?
I have always lived my life as the perfect daughter. At seventeen, I had no other option than to follow my parents' strict regiment. Did I mention that they're assholes?
The world didn't decide to suddenly end. Oh no, that would be too easy. Instead, it was a series of events that led to its eventual demise. Earthquakes, tornados, and a mysterious virus that turned people into raving lunatics. Fortunately for me, I have the help of seven handsome men to combat the coming storm. Literally.
Declan, an enigma from my past. Ryder, a flirty musician. Asher, the sweetest boy I had ever met and probably the only one that I don't want to kick in the balls. Tamson, shy and timid, with a past I'm aching to uncover. Ronan, my sarcastic leprechaun. Fallon, the stoic leader. And, finally, Calax (but he doesn't really matter because I kind of hate him and want him to fall on his head and die).
I will have to learn to rely on these boys and myself if we're going to survive the apocalypse.
This is a slow-burn reverse harem series.
Warning: This book deals with sensitive issues such as abuse, rape, and suicide that some readers may find triggering. Reader discretion is advised.
I wake up surrounded by death and my memories are gone.
A man in a beige hazmat suit reaches his hand through the carnage. “Come with me if you want to live.” I know I’m supposed to know that from somewhere, but I don’t. I know the world outside me is not right. People either die or they are Rage Heads. Somehow, a virus got out that has turned people into red eyed freaks who eat flesh. They are fast, their flesh is rotting off their bodies and they have one goal—kill.
I don’t know my mystery man in the hazmat suit, but he says I can trust him. He was at that lab looking for something. He claims not to have found it. He only found me. I see the way he looks at me when I ask what he was doing in that lab. I might feel safe with him, but he’s lying to me. He knows everything about me, including the nickname people used to call me, but he tells me I ask too many questions. Maybe I’d be safer on my own.
The Pale Rider is Book 1 of End of Days, a Post Apocalyptic slow burn reverse harem romance. The harem will slowly grow as the books progress. The harem features the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Five years...
It's been five years since the world's entire female population mysteriously changed into shambling, flesh-eating undead. For Esperanza Costales, that means coping with the loss of her mother, surviving in the Tennessee wilderness with her father and brother, and wondering whether or not she's the last living woman on Earth.
Esperanza and her family have adapted and learned to count their blessings, but when a group of escaped convicts led by a crazed psychopath named Frankie stumble upon their camp and kidnap her and her father, her new life is thrown into chaos. By taking advantage of a late-night zombie attack, she barely escapes captivity and flees into the forest, alone.
Injured, frightened, and separated from her family, Esperanza nearly loses hope until she encounters a group of four men. Jason, Derek, Roland, and Joseph have survived the world's end by putting aside old feelings and embracing their harsh new reality, but their routine is shattered when Esperanza enters their lives and brings into question everything they thought they knew about the Apocalypse.
As Esperanza and the men learn more about one another and themselves, will they be able to form a bond strong enough to survive attacks by the undead and pursuit by Frankie's gang? Will Esperanza ever see her family again? And in a world full of zombies and psychos, will a woman and four men be able to find love through despair?
