Amazon Description

Once upon a time, there was a girl who walked into the woods, and everything changed.
When Rowe Branning sets off with her faithful wolfhound, Tris, on a quest to visit a grandmother she hasn’t seen in fifteen years, it’s supposed to be all milk and cookies, with soft hugs and a place to crash until she can sort her life out. But her arrival in to Hartford Cove doesn’t come with the warm welcome she hoped for. The town holds dark memories for Rowe of a night in the woods and death, and the way the sheriff looks at her makes her feel like prey even as she’s drawn to him.

Then ghosts from her past return in the flesh, making Rowe question everything she thought she remembered about that night in the woods all those years ago, when she watched her mother and her best friend be brutally mauled by a monster out of nightmares.

Nothing in Hartford Cove is as it seems. It hides secrets, not just to her past but to the true meaning of why the town even exists. Is there any hope of Rowe finding safety in this small town? Especially when she has secrets of her own? Because everywhere Rowe looks, she still sees monsters, and she’s beginning to think they’re not just her imagination anymore.

Magic encircles the town, howls fill the woods, and a curse lives in Rowe’s blood that everyone wants. But who is friend and who is foe in the feud between the wolves and the huntsmen?

A Red Hiding Hood Retelling that features a spunky heroine with questionable sanity, a scary—but sexy—sheriff, a gentle mayor, and a wolfdog whose more than just his bark.

I forgot I was reading the sample to vet the book for this post.  I was all ready to settle in for a read.  I love you all enough to put my kindle down, but you can bet your last sock I’ll be picking this up once I finish the post.

Christmas gifts aren’t the only surprises Ginny is going to get this year.

Moonstone Guinevere ‘Ginny’ Miles is in Silver Springs visiting her parents for the holidays. They moved to the town five years ago, and adore their new life here. Used to the hustle and bustle of London, England, Ginny isn’t convinced at first—what’s so great about a small town in Upstate New York, anyway? Despite her own opinions, it’s clear to Ginny the move has done her parents the world of good—they look years younger. There’s clearly something magical about this town.

Following some exploration of her own, Ginny discovers Silver Springs has its charms—Jewels Cafe is amazing, for starters, as is its pumpkin spice latte. Ginny’s drunk a lot of lattes in her thirty-three years, but nothing quite like this.

Her taste buds are still tingling from the tasty treat when she comes across a broken-down truck on the way back to her parents’ place. And when she spots the three gorgeous guys with the vehicle, it’s not just her taste buds that are tingling.

Is Ginny’s vacation in Silver Springs about to get a whole lot more interesting?

Moonstone is a standalone contemporary reverse harem romance. It is part of the Jewels Cafe series.

**Be sure and check out Snowbound, a Moonstone bonus story!**

Ginny is my fictional soul sister. I too cannot for the life of me sleep on a plane.  I like the writing style, and have added this to my TBR pile.

Welcome to Dark River. Population 0.

When Mika McKellen woke up in a stormwater drain while backpacking around Canada, she knew that her mother was right. If you made bad choices, you would end up dead in a ditch. But when she stumbled into Dark River, even her mother could never have dreamed up the residents of this small town in the middle of nowhere, Alberta.

Oh, it had all the usual suspects. Quirky diner owners, untrustworthy outcasts and a Sheriff so hot he’d make any red-blooded woman with a heartbeat beg to be in cuffs in the back of his patrol vehicle. No, the really unusual thing about Dark River was that it was entirely populated by the Undead. Vampires to be specific. And so was Mika.

As Mika adjusts to the life of a Vampire, a dark presence stalks her from the shadows. One of the residents of Dark River was her maker and her murderer.

And they were determined to ensure that Mika never rested in peace.

This is a reverse harem romance with a high heat factor.

Thoughts from Paige

I quite liked this series, and it’s one I’ve re-read.  There are some things that occur later on that I would love to have a discussion about, but all in all I like the books.

I, Connie Manors, never thought I’d see them again.
Yet here they are, expecting me to pick up where we left off.
I’m one lucky lady!

Rascal has a wicked smile, and he can charm me into almost anything.
Josh is tall, dark and deliciously mysterious. Yum!
Luke’s broad-shoulders and melting glance is what dreams are made of.

We had a country band when we were teens.
I was the lead singer.
Nothing much came of it, but some of that was my fault.

A recent video of me singing again has inspired them to revitalize our band.
I refuse to join, until they give me one of those can’t-refuse offers.
I’d dated each of them separately during our teen years.
They have different plans for me now, and I’m all in.
We spend our days practicing original melodies and writing new lyrics.
While our nights smolder with the kind of fun that leaves me breathless.

Can we make a success of our band and our crazy-hot relationship this time?
Or are we doomed to crash-and-burn once again?

Three Times The Swoon is a sizzling, small-town reverse harem romance. This is Connie’s book, from my Small Town Lovers series. 3 Times The Swoon kicks off my Down Home Series. It’s rich with sexy single and multiple partner scenes all done with a touch of humor and a spark of heat that just might melt your Kindle. As with all my books, a HEA is always guaranteed… Thanks for reading!

Thoughts from Paige

I LOVED that the harem and the FMC had honest discussions about feelings and the future. Their openness, honesty, and trust in each other was really amazing to read. I don’t want to say too much and risk spoiling it.  This was a delightful read, a nice ROMCOM, RH style. I ended up buying the book, and have re-read it.  I’m going to be keeping my eye on this author.

Amazon Description

From international bestselling author J Rose comes an angsty, small town reverse harem romance full of spice, second chances, found family and sizzling hot mountain men.

I’m on the run.

Desperate and afraid.

After breaking free from the gilded cage of my abusive marriage, I have nothing to my name but a letter from a long-lost relative.

Come home, Willow.

Your family is waiting for you.

I sacrificed everything to flee for the tiny town of Briar Valley and its promise of a better life for my young daughter.

Hope often takes the unlikeliest of forms, but I didn’t expect to find it nestled among the rugged, snow-capped mountains.

Nor did I intend to surrender my heart to three tortured mountain men, hiding from their own grief in the thick forest of pine trees.

Briar Valley offers a home to all lost things, but at what cost?

I have to make an impossible choice.

Do I spend the rest of my life running from the demons in my past, or should I risk it all in the name of love?

Author’s Note: Where Broken Wings Fly (Briar Valley #1) is a spicy small town reverse harem romance and book one in a duet. It does end on a cliffhanger. Full trigger warning available inside the book.

Thoughts from Paige

Beware of the triggers.  I think I finally set this book aside, it was just too heavy for me.  But the writing is excellent, and the author does a great job pulling you in.

Amazon Description

Pack healers have three rules:

Never mix magics

Never fall in love with a pack member

And never forget that you will die young

I try not to think about that last one. The healer burden is one I gladly bear–my wolves need me. Even if our jackhole alpha won’t let me touch him to do my job. Oh, he’ll bring a wounded pack mate to me, but we’re forbidden to touch.

Which is probably for the best because I’m his omega. We’ve known since, well, forever. But we can never be together.

See rules one through three.

But everything changes when a powerful new wolf storms into our small town, bringing secrets and danger and everything I never knew I wanted with him.

And Alpha

Is

Pissed

Wolves of the Midnight Stars is the first book in the Healer’s Pack Series and there might be a cliffy. This is a RH omegaverse romance with plenty of sexy times, nesting, AB/o dynamics, and other filthy things. You’ve been warned.

Thoughts from Paige

This book was written differently than what I’m used to, and it totally worked for me.  I couldn’t believe it was over when I saw the #sorrynotsorry note from the author. Made me chuckle.  Looking forward to book 2
