Our randomly selected theme of the week is reverse harem books with no male-on-male action. The requestor left it open; the only other criterion was for the genre to be comedy, contemporary, or fantasy.
I ended up going through my 2022 read books on Goodreads and read a lot of older reviews. I am fairly sure all these books contain no male-on-male action, but please correct me if I’m wrong!
I have read all of the books below, and even if I don’t remember them fully now, I do believe I liked them at the time. And by that, I mean that I rated them three stars or above on Goodreads.
Hopefully, you can all find some mouthwatering reads where our men focus entirely on our FMC.

And yet, there’s something about Riven’s soulful eyes, Jean-Claude’s pain, and Harlow’s need that makes me think maybe a quick layover in Dread wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world…

I can only remember the main bits about the first and second book. I think I meant to finish the series, but somehow lost track of it. I have written down that this is a slow-burn.

I’m late to the party with this trope. I was just going to read a sample to see if it would fit the theme of this post and ended up reading the whole book. I liked the backstory of each character, and am looking forward to the next book. There was some heavy foreshadowing there at the end, hopefully, it can remain in our sweet reads category!

Things are about to get interesting, because my day job happens to be in a museum.
A museum full of dinosaur bones, if you know what I mean.
It turns out my bloodline is older than dirt, and an ancestral matchmaker decided to send me some gifts…aka, men. And not just any men, but dinosaur shifters from the past.
I’ve read enough paranormal romance to know all about fated mates, but I’ve never heard of fated dinosaur mates. These men are supposed to be my perfect match, here to help me learn about my magic. Rawr. Yes, they are as sexy as you are imagining.
My life had been a routine of working and spending time watching TV with my pet pig, Albert Einswine. Now I needed to learn to control the magic I never knew I had, learn more about my family line, and help these sexy dino shifters adjust to modern society.
All while hiding a T-Rex sized secret from the world.
To make matters worse, detectives are looking into the explosion I may or may not have caused when my blood mixed with some magic-infused ancient dust, which is a serious problem since the sexy green-eyed detective has my heart flip-flopping in my chest.
Dinosaurs & Disasters is a light-hearted romantic comedy with a whole lot of steam! This isn’t a save-the-world type of story, but rather it focuses on Arizona’s coming into her hidden abilities and tracking down each of her fated mates.
*This is a paranormal series, not a serious true-to-science series. So, if you are hoping to learn about dinosaurs, this probably isn’t the read for you. If you want to giggle hard enough that the people around you think you’re crazy, then this might be the book for you!

Grayson – A hard, cut body and dimples a girl would want to lick. His sweetness and charm hides a darker side that takes Kelsey’s desire to the next level.
Devin – Is a dick. Long black hair and ice blue eyes, his attitude hides the devastation and guilt he lives with every moment of every day. He recognizes the darkness in Kelsey and wants her in any way he can have her. Hate sex will work.
The Hens – Snookie, J-Wow, Cardie and the rest are firmly on Kelsey’s crazy train and flock it up every chance they get. They also throw a hell of a dance party. Admiral the cock watches over them all.

You can’t turn on the news nowadays without getting bombarded by stories about the Rebels. They look so scary on TV—blowing things up, knocking things down, terrorizing the declining city of Corona, and making sure even the rubble doesn’t go unscathed.

I devoured the first three books in this series. It doesn’t appear on KU, but it is available on Hoopla. I ended up listening and reading. I liked the first book enough to buy the first three. I cannot wait for book four. Hopefully, it comes out soon!

I vaguely remember reading this series. I didn’t rate it, because of course not, but I did read at least the first few books in the series. I’m assuming that means I liked it.

I love love love the book dedication.
Additionally, the writing is fantastic and I was immediately sucked in.
This feels more like a fiction book featuring a woman rebuilding her self rather than a romance. We don’t meet the potential harem until 50%. The author is thoughtfully dealing with what our MC went through, and it is truly a beautiful story.
I was once an average college student with dreams of the Olympics. A better future had been within my grasp. I was weeks away from graduating from college, and I had just received my invitation to the National Team. Sure, I was still nursing a broken heart and coming to terms with the betrayal delivered to me at the hands of people I once trusted and loved dearly. However, things were finally looking up.
Or so I thought. The news began to report disturbing stories about a new virus. This virus was turning people. The infected became violent and attacking anybody and everybody.
My plans for a relaxing weekend with my friends and family turned into a nightmare. We were told to evacuate to Sanctuary. On our journey to safety, I run into old friends and find myself becoming attracted to them and their friends. I realized that even in the most harrowing of times, I could find solace and affection.
This may be a whole new world and life wasn’t going to return to normal anytime soon, if ever, but at least I had five men at my side to face it with.
