Hello, my friends!
Our randomly selected theme of the week is reverse harem books with no male-on-male action. The requestor left it open; the only other criterion was for the genre to be comedy, contemporary, or fantasy.
I ended up going through my 2022 read books on Goodreads and read a lot of older reviews. I am fairly sure all these books contain no male-on-male action, but please correct me if I’m wrong!
I have read all of the books below, and even if I don’t remember them fully now, I do believe I liked them at the time. And by that, I mean that I rated them three stars or above on Goodreads.
Hopefully, you can all find some mouthwatering reads where our men focus entirely on our FMC.
Be well, and happy reading!

I’m so excited to be headed to the Academy of Enchantment, where I’ll be a transfer student for the following year.
Except I never make it.
When a shadow demon boards my train, I’m overcome by his power and I blackout.
And when I wake up? I’m in a place called Dread. And, yes, Dread is as wonderful as the name implies.
Awaiting my arrival at the train station is a guy named Harlow. He’s an incubus—a demon, and with his leather jacket, his bad-boy attitude and the fact that he can’t keep his hands off me, I know he’s trouble.
Not only that, but Harlow has instructions to deliver me to my host family.
And that means I’ve been expected in Dread. But how and why? That’s the mystery I need to figure out. And pronto.
But, first, I have to survive the evening at Castle Raven Night, and I have to survive my host family, Count Jean-Claude Von Zarovich… the third.
Yeah, the count might be the hottest guy I’ve ever seen in my life, but he’s also a vampire, and last I checked, vampires eat you.
Then there’s Riven. Riven is the headmaster of Ever Dark Academy, and he’s the reason I’m here. And, yes, he’s just as freaking hot as Jean-Claude and Harlow. Only I’ve got a bone to pick with Riven because he totally hijacked my plans.
And yet, there’s something about Riven’s soulful eyes, Jean-Claude’s pain, and Harlow’s need that makes me think maybe a quick layover in Dread wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world…
I can only remember the main bits about the first and second book. I think I meant to finish the series, but somehow lost track of it. I have written down that this is a slow-burn.
When a sassy and disillusioned phone operator gets a hold of the power of Cupid, watch out!
Love is for suckers.
Love is overrated.
Love makes you vulnerable.
Locke Casey knows all too well about being burned by love. But Cupid’s powers are taking hold whether she likes it or not! Now she’s got the feels for the sexy and broody Rane, the mischievous and evasive Mads, and Byron, her college love who broke her heart. Opening her heart to love, and tapping into her Cupid powers-the good, bad and downright ugly-terrifies her. But a girl’s gotta do, what a Love God wants her to do…
Battlefield Love is the first in a slow burn series with multiple love interests that will leave you breathless, protective alphas that won’t let you go, and a second chance at love.

Shoot, 54% through the sample and I’m feeling anxious for our MC. I’m getting a “the call is coming from inside the house” vibe. AHHHH. Love it.
Four of dad’s hottest military friends turned billionaires + one fortune 500 job opening +
one ivy league grad = One
lucky girl! Whoever said three was a crowd never met my dad’s four gorgeous best friends.
Dad lost his office manager and needs a replacement pronto.
I just graduated Brown and need to do something with my life.
No idea that something would be kissing four of daddy’s friends.
How’d I know I’d be working with four of the most eligible bachelors on the planet?
And now they all want to teach me more than just how to do my job.
This is book one in Their Temptation Series.

I’m late to the party with this trope. I was just going to read a sample to see if it would fit the theme of this post and ended up reading the whole book. I liked the backstory of each character, and am looking forward to the next book. There was some heavy foreshadowing there at the end, hopefully, it can remain in our sweet reads category!
I have huge man problems.Literally, since one of my mates is a T-Rex.
Things are about to get interesting, because my day job happens to be in a museum.
A museum full of dinosaur bones, if you know what I mean.
It turns out my bloodline is older than dirt, and an ancestral matchmaker decided to send me some gifts…aka, men. And not just any men, but dinosaur shifters from the past.
I’ve read enough paranormal romance to know all about fated mates, but I’ve never heard of fated dinosaur mates. These men are supposed to be my perfect match, here to help me learn about my magic. Rawr. Yes, they are as sexy as you are imagining.
My life had been a routine of working and spending time watching TV with my pet pig, Albert Einswine. Now I needed to learn to control the magic I never knew I had, learn more about my family line, and help these sexy dino shifters adjust to modern society.
All while hiding a T-Rex sized secret from the world.
To make matters worse, detectives are looking into the explosion I may or may not have caused when my blood mixed with some magic-infused ancient dust, which is a serious problem since the sexy green-eyed detective has my heart flip-flopping in my chest.
Dinosaurs & Disasters is a light-hearted romantic comedy with a whole lot of steam! This isn’t a save-the-world type of story, but rather it focuses on Arizona’s coming into her hidden abilities and tracking down each of her fated mates.
*This is a paranormal series, not a serious true-to-science series. So, if you are hoping to learn about dinosaurs, this probably isn’t the read for you. If you want to giggle hard enough that the people around you think you’re crazy, then this might be the book for you!

I laughed out loud reading this. Can’t wait for book 2!
662 – Days since the dead rose up
413 – Days since I’ve spoken to another living human
4 – Men who have climbed my fence looking for safety
1 – Last chance for Love
Kelsey survived the start of the apocalypse and thrived in the new world with help from her friends but now they’re gone. Alone for over a year and mentally broken with high anxiety, she pushes through every day trying to find the will to keep going. Until three sweet, sexy men and one hot a**hole climbs her fence looking for sanctuary.
With her best friend, Tara haunting her with outrageous antics, she needs to decide if she wants to keep dying a little bit day by day or if she can grab on to what these sexy men offer her and maybe find love.
Also, zombies make a few cameos.
This isn’t a blood and gore zombie novel. It’s full of comedy, over protective men that just want to take care of her and a ton of sexy steam that happens behind a set of double fences.
Linc – Tall and broad with too many muscles to count, he carries the crushing weight of responsibility to see his brothers through safely. Kelsey give him the chance to lay his burdens down and her sweetness and crazy quirks has his body burning to be with her.
Oliver – Calm, cool, in control of his emotions until Kelsey flips all that control on its head and tangles him into knots. Only her sweet, sexy mouth can smooth out those knots so he can find peace.
Grayson – A hard, cut body and dimples a girl would want to lick. His sweetness and charm hides a darker side that takes Kelsey’s desire to the next level.
Devin – Is a dick. Long black hair and ice blue eyes, his attitude hides the devastation and guilt he lives with every moment of every day. He recognizes the darkness in Kelsey and wants her in any way he can have her. Hate sex will work.
The Hens – Snookie, J-Wow, Cardie and the rest are firmly on Kelsey’s crazy train and flock it up every chance they get. They also throw a hell of a dance party. Admiral the cock watches over them all.
Confronting a gang of dangerous rebels is one thing. Falling for them is another.
You can’t turn on the news nowadays without getting bombarded by stories about the Rebels. They look so scary on TV—blowing things up, knocking things down, terrorizing the declining city of Corona, and making sure even the rubble doesn’t go unscathed.
My father is the reigning Arcane Master of Fire. Since he’s a prominent figure in both politics and magic, it only makes sense that my family is a target.
Still, I never expected to encounter a Rebel leader in person. I never imagined I’d be drawn to him, either.
And I most definitely never dreamed I could lose my heart to them all.
Ember: the leader
Sterling: the healer
Zephyr: the thinker
Rain: the dreamer
And Aurora is the heart of the group, pitted against her own family in this page-turning series.
Urban Fantasy fans will adore this medium-burn Reverse Harem filled with action, intrigue and magic. If you like RH with adult heroines, spellbinding action and immersive worldbuilding, pick up the first book in the five-volume Arcane Rebels series today.

I devoured the first three books in this series. It doesn’t appear on KU, but it is available on Hoopla. I ended up listening and reading. I liked the first book enough to buy the first three. I cannot wait for book four. Hopefully, it comes out soon!
Three gods. One soul. And a sick brother.
My little brother is dying and I’ll do anything to save him.
Enter Grey, the Don of the Underworld. And he is totally to-die-for, but unfortunately he isn’t looking to make a soul deal with a nobody hairdresser like me.
When I run into his billionaire brother, Raef, in a big-city snowstorm things start looking up. Maybe he’ll convince Grey to take me away.
Not so much. Because Raef is falling for me, hard and fast.
Then there’s Aroz — another brother — and I think he might be stalking me.
…with a bow and arrow.
Three godly guys. Surely one of them will help me.
Problem is, I want them all. And not only to save my brother.
Three Gods is the first installment of Hazel Storm’s completed Her Three Immortals series, a paranormal romance saga that readers call “steamy, complex and addicting.”
If you love crazy-hair-day heroines with a lot of heart, sexy-as-sin gods with a lot of heat and a few mythical creatures thrown into the mix, look no further…
**Warning: contains sexual situations (a female lead with multiple male lovers between whom she won’t have to choose), explicit language, a cliffhanger and a guaranteed end-of-series HEA.
Publisher note: Three Gods (Book 1 of Her Three Immortals) was previously published under the title The Don.

I vaguely remember reading this series. I didn’t rate it, because of course not, but I did read at least the first few books in the series. I’m assuming that means I liked it.
Cursed, they must hunt down the witch responsible, or walk the earth alone. Thirty years ago, the men of my pack were cursed, doomed to never find our fated mate. With no females born into our ranks, there was no one left to breed with. We’d be the last of our kind unless we could figure a way to break the evil inflicted upon us. But the only one capable of that is the witch who laid the curse. My beta and I set off in search of the one who ruined our lives. Except, no one’s ever heard of her, and every other witch we encounter hates our kind. Until we hunt down a coven in the north. One with a red-haired beauty who makes our hearts pound and our wolves cry to the moon in ecstasy. How could she be ours? I never imagined sharing a woman. Not with my beta and definitely not with the warlock who claims she’s his birth rite. Fans of Jaymin Eve and Linsey Hall will ravage this steamy paranormal romance. *** author note: This book finishes in a cliff hanger which leads straight into book 2!
And just like that I decided I was done, done with the ugliness of the world, and done existing amongst people who only pretended to love me the way I deserve to be loved.
No longer held down by the weight of my life, I find freedom from the monsters that plague my own mind. No longer held down by the abuse of my spouse, I find freedom from the monster in my bed. Finding inner strength I didn’t know I had, to break free from the shackles that have kept me prisoner to my own life, I made the decision to get away and let go of the toxicity drowning me day to day.
Doing my best to navigate through life as a newly single mom, I keep my head down and work hard to keep my daughter safe as we start our new life tucked away in a small town. I would have never expected to find happiness in three men who love my daughter like their own, but I should have known that I could never truly find contentment in life as long as my ex is still alive and breathing.
He finds us and now none of us are safe.
WARNING: Life as She Knows it is a slow burn reverse harem romance. Meaning the FMC is in a relationship with three or more men. This is the first book of the Learning to Love Again series and does result in a cliffhanger. This book features dark themes, potential triggers, foul language, and sexual scenes so it may not be suitable for everyone. This book is recommended for readers eighteen years of age or older. The rest of you, ENJOY! #WhyChoose

I love love love the book dedication.
Additionally, the writing is fantastic and I was immediately sucked in.
This feels more like a fiction book featuring a woman rebuilding her self rather than a romance. We don’t meet the potential harem until 50%. The author is thoughtfully dealing with what our MC went through, and it is truly a beautiful story.
I was once an average college student with dreams of the Olympics. A better future had been within my grasp. I was weeks away from graduating from college, and I had just received my invitation to the National Team. Sure, I was still nursing a broken heart and coming to terms with the betrayal delivered to me at the hands of people I once trusted and loved dearly. However, things were finally looking up.
Or so I thought. The news began to report disturbing stories about a new virus. This virus was turning people. The infected became violent and attacking anybody and everybody.
My plans for a relaxing weekend with my friends and family turned into a nightmare. We were told to evacuate to Sanctuary. On our journey to safety, I run into old friends and find myself becoming attracted to them and their friends. I realized that even in the most harrowing of times, I could find solace and affection.
This may be a whole new world and life wasn’t going to return to normal anytime soon, if ever, but at least I had five men at my side to face it with.
*** Sanctuary is a contemporary, post-apocalyptic reverse harem, why choose series. This book contains some triggering content that may be sensitive to some readers. ***
