They look like us, know all about us, and can even blend in perfectly. That doesn't make them human. When an alien science vessel crashes into the shore of Haven, Hailey has a front row seat. Thereโs something about this girl but he canโt quite figure out what it is. Humans are aggressive and primitive, but sheโs nothing like that. He only knows because he can't make himself stay away from her.And she's the only one not getting sick.Because the crash brought more than just strange aliens to Earth. It also released bacteria that humans have never experienced. The clock is ticking and human medicine can't even detect the pathogens spreading through the population. Humanityโs only hope for survival lies with one alien doctor - and he needs a miracle. Lucky for him, it comes in the form of the woman he canโt get enough of.Helping him might kill her. Not helping definitely will. Introducing her to the rest of his people? Well, it might be the riskiest move yet - because he won't be the only one unable to resist her allure. I am one of the Forsaken.
A hundred years ago Earth was invaded by the Yarek, aliens with weapons of mass destruction. Humans were on the brink of annihilation when the Totiv, another alien race who wanted Earth to survive for their own sinister purposes, fought alongside us.
A decade later, the Totiv and Human collective defeated the Yarek. A treaty was forged as a way of giving thanks to the Totiv...but it wasn't any of Earth's natural resources they were after.
It was our women.
As their own females began to die out, the Totiv sought human women as mates. And so, we were Forsaken by our world. Every year, special girls from around the world are taken to special training houses, in preparation to become a mate to one of the Totivโs many unmated Klans. They are known as Harvest Girls.
My name is Carmen and I am one of those girls.
*Capturing Carmen is book one in The Forsaken series, this book can be read as a stand-alone as can any of the others. This book has mature content intended for 18+ with explicit and violent scenes. Capturing Carmen is a reverse harem, dark alien sci-fi romance*

This is a series of standalone, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it.ย In the sample we have our MC having some FF action, and then sexy times with some humans.ย I'm ALL FOR the sexy times...I just don't know.ย I liked the human men she found but I know this is science fiction so off she'll probably go with the aliens.ย Who am I kidding, I'm totally going to read this.
Drawing, my online clan, and planning my escape from my mother--these are priorities. Or, at least they were, until three huge alien Alphas came to abduct me and take me to their planet. But it's not just a simple process of probing and then releasing me back to Earth. All those movies are lies. These three males keep me. And I'm suddenly a cadet at an Omega Academy where I'm supposed to learn how to serve the Gretar Fleet. None of this makes any sense to begin with, nevermind the three Alphas I can't seem to avoid. But they say we have a connection, that we're a circle, whatever that means. And my body seems to agree, because anytime they're near, I can't seem to think of anything except Kyte's horns, Jeren's smirk, and Ceredes's long, hard ... sword. Focusing on class is almost impossible, and the Omega Academy isn't for the faint of heart. I have to learn who my enemies are, how to make friends, and how I fit with the three males I can't stop thinking about. All doable, right? No. Not right, especially when I discover the fleet has other plans for me. The bond with my three Alphas may be the only thing that can keep me safe, but that means we need to consummate our circle. Yeah, you read that right, consummate. Deep. Breaths.
Lily's Note: Omega Academy is a full-length novel and the first book of the Omega Academy trilogy.

I'm not sure what to think about this one. I started the sample, and before I knew it, I'd read the entire book. However, I didn't immediately download the next book in the series. I wonder if there was just too much happening, and yet not enough. I know that doesn't make any sense. It's an interesting take on the omegaverse in that this is a science fiction book rather than fantasy. Definitely read the sample if you don't have KU. If you have KU I'll be interested to hear if you end up just finishing the book like I did before you knew it.

Found is the first book in a space fantasy alien romance series which will have the heroine travel through the galaxy, experiencing new things and meeting multiple aliens along the way. Her collection of very alien-looking alien love interests will grow throughout the series. There will be steamy scenes between the human heroine and her very alien heroes. If this offends you, then this may not be your cup of tea.

A dying planet. A conquered mate.
I came to this godforsaken planet to uncover a dark secret. Nothing could have prepared me for what I actually found.
Now, betrayed and stranded in an unforgiving wasteland, I can feel my life slipping away with each breath of poisonous air. Death is certain.
Until the aliens find me.
Horned warriors with glowing green eyes.
They say they will save my life. The power to do so lies within their hard, savagely muscled bodies. But if I give in to their demands, I will be changed forever. Transformed. I will become one of them.
There will be no going back.
The aliens will dominate me. They will share me. And I will bear for them an army of alien spawn to reclaim their conquered planet. Itโs so wrong. So shameful. So why do I want it so badly?
I came to uncover a dark secret.
I never expected to find love.

I'm too scared to read the sample... Our MC starts off disguised as a man and embarks on a journey as an undercover journalist. Definitely fits our themes.ย Some of the reviews hint at, or plain out state, our MC is sexually abused, or almost raped.ย Hard to tell.ย So, I'm hoping out of this one.ย Let me know if you've read it! It sounds really good, and I'm interested in hearing if the trigger warnings are as dark as they foretell.
Some of these sound good. I have come across some of Kathryn Moon’s books, but I’m not sure which ones are good. Sometimes I feel like a prude, since I’m only looking for RH without M/M. (Yeah, I’m probably missing out on some good books.) I will have to check out some of your sci-fi recommendations. I love The Naughty Book Box.
Hi, Thank you! Kathryn Moon RH books with no m/m: Good deeds, and Summerland series.
I have read Good Deeds, loved it, and recommend it. I haven’t read the Summerland series yet, but I plan on it. Also, my friends assure me it’s great. ๐
