My name is Caitlyn Lonette, and I've just been burned.
Caught participating in illegal disc-bike racing, my father, First Councilor Lonette, ships me off to finishing school to learn the ways of politics, either voluntarily or through brainwashing if necessary.
There, I reconnect with my old racing competitors, Blaze, Vice, and Rush, who turn out to be fellow councilor’s children. We forge a bond to resist the school’s assimilation, to stay true to our passions, but soon find that a love of racing isn’t the only thing we share.
The energy that sings through my blood every time we touch thrills me in a way racing never did before. Raised in a family who lacks physical contact, I have to tread carefully or risk being consumed by these three dangerous men. If I can trust them, they’ll be my salvation. Doubt whispers to me, though, that my naïveté and need for connection will place my trust in the wrong place.
Whatever happens, we have four years to figure out how to change our fates, or be forced to follow in the path of our ancestors.
What if you had to hit pause on your life and rewind? Just when you were ready to fast forward, prepared for anything but your past skipping through your victory lap.
Tess Sinclair thought she had it all figured out, or at least, locked down for those last few months of prerequisite classes and working weekend shifts to earn tuition. One phone call from child services changes all her plans and she is forced to move back home.
Maddy. Mad as sin. Mom.
Tess may have turned eighteen, but now she feels like an adult going backwards. There are sibling fights to break up without joining them. Dinner recipes to fake from the can because her mother's too medicated to recite the ingredients. Being the new girl at the final year at high-school is a whole other level of teenage torture that she should have outgrown.
Ditto to boy crushes.
The good boy gone bad, his devilishly smart twin, and the hot jock that normally wouldn't give her the time of day, forget make a play. All led by a dark prince that finds out her sneakers are made of glass. They ought to be the kings of the school and Tess the poor, bullied girl from the wrong side of the tracks. This Cinderella tale has been told before, with a charming but predictable ending.
Except, no one seems to have gotten the tropes right. The prince has a wicked stepmother. The jock struggles to hide he has more brains than brawn. The rich, heartthrob twins are bullied by the masses instead of put on a pedestal. Tess is the only one willing to come to their rescue.
Can she figure out the hidden secret twisting their roles?
If Tess can't run, then she'll learn to fight fate to get her victory lap to the finish line.
Warnings/Triggers for references to mental health, institutionalization and stereotypes. Mention of child abuse/neglect. There is adult intimacy, violence and language as well as the usual drugs and alcohol with these darker themes. Oh, and lame jokes. I have plenty of those. Some may offend since they can take a religious tone as I poke fun of the Catholic school. You were warned.
In this book the main female character ends up with multiple love interests at the end of the series in a HFN.
How about a 'bully themes' RH book with a different twist? The MFC comes to the rescue of her bullied harem and they work together to overcome their challenges.
I would NOT group this with other bully romances out there and don't want to disappoint anyone expecting otherwise. This book contains bullying of the main characters but not to each other, which is the twist, a bully romance where the harem comes together to deal with it.
Callie Jensen has always been a little bit different. She was made fun of for being a math-whiz in school up until she was kidnapped. Growing up in the crime world from a young age, she was turned into a language savant and a hacker-expert. She tried to do what she was told and keep her head down...but...that was easier said than done. Trouble seems to follow her like it's her middle name. Eventually, things come to a head that puts her in the sights of a secret government organization. She finally has some allies in the form of several muscular, irresistibly handsome and talented guys. Callie wonders if she'll be able to find peace at last, but the struggles only keep piling up as she is shuffled around, wondering when or even if she will ever find somewhere she feels like is safe. People who she thought were safe might not be. And not only that, but her kidnapper is not willing to give her up without a fight, and he shows her all too well that he will go to some very dangerous lengths to get her back.
Thoughts from Paige
I debated myself about including this series but ultimately decided to include it because it does contain a large harem and is a complete series. This isn't the type of book that calls to me, but it does have a lot of positive reviews out there. I do want to point out that later books indicate it is a relatively tame RH, sexy-time wise. Since I haven't read the books I cannot confirm. Reviewers seem to love the final book, some indicating it is one of their favorites. It is a spy/thriller and the consensus around this genre seems to be almost completely positive.
Shh, I have a secret.
The sinfully gorgeous members of the Student Council—Church, Ranger, Spencer, Micah and Tobias—can't ever find out.
I already get picked on because my father's the headmaster.
I don't need them to know I’m the only girl, too; I’d rather dress like a boy.
Adamson All-Boys Academy now has its only female student, but I'm not about to be their guinea pig.
Not when there's a secret at this school nobody is talking about. Not when the last female student here ended up dead.
***420 pages in paperback
***THE SECRET GIRL is a 90,000 word lighthearted reverse harem/high school bully romance novel with a mystery/suspense twist. This is book one of three in the series. Contains foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual.
The gods walk among us. And they just might steal your soul... or your heart.
I thought I'd survived everything life could throw at me. All I wanted was to keep my distance from the criminals I work for and get my little brother out of the hell that is our mother's house.
Then I died and woke up to four stunningly hot gods telling me I'm now a valkyrie.
Sly, sharp Loki.
Jovial but ferocious Thor.
Dreamily compassionate Baldur.
Grim and secretive Hod.
They all have something to teach me. And around them, my walls start to crack.
But the gods didn't summon me just for kicks. Their king is missing, and they need me to find him. The first three valkyries they sent on the job never made it back.
More power is awakening in me than I could ever have imagined—and the gods' enemies are more devious than even they knew. It's going to take every trick in the book for me to save myself, my brother, and these divine men who're getting under my skin in the most alluring way.
I'm Aria Watson, and Valhalla ain't seen nothing yet.
*Claimed by Gods is the first book in a complete urban fantasy series. This action-packed, heart-wrenching ride gives you a kickass heroine, four irresistible gods, a medium-burn romance with no choosing required, and Norse mythology like you've never seen it before.*
If life really was a fairy tale, Zakara would never be the damsel in distress. She’d be a thief, and Prince Charming wouldn’t have a clue how to steal the heart of the conniving criminal.
Zakara saves not one, but three men locked inside the tallest tower. Her first instinct is to ditch them as soon as possible, but they have one thing that intrigues her more than wealth:
Fae magic once ruled the world, until it disappeared without a trace. Only myths of the magic wielders linger in their destroyed society.
The three prisoners claim to be fae, but she doesn’t trust them.
She doesn’t trust anyone.
Can Prince Ryder convince the pretty thief to lead them to the Hopeless City? Or will she kill him before they even arrive?
This is book one in a reverse harem series. Recommended for readers over 18.
"I absolutely LOVED this post apocalyptic fantasy!"
"Absolutely loved this book. Snarky, sassy, and sexy Kara saves three fae men from a tower by accident. With her witty banter and snarky attitude Kara takes you on adventure with these three men while trying to control her feelings about them. Hilarious and laugh out loud fun. A must read!"
"I can’t wait to read book two, all the action, adventure, magic, sex, and attitude, it’s amazing!"
From Book 1: All great stories start with a death.
In this case, it's my own.
Instead of the pearly white gates and yellow brick road leading me to Heaven, my soul is chosen to join Afterworld Academy - an exclusive boarding school to train selected souls on how to manage the Afterlife.
Ghosts, Demons, Reapers, and Angels.
Classes on how to fly. Studies on the proper way to select souls. Weaponry. Premonition. Oh, and field trips to Hell.
Sounds peachy, right?
When souls turn up dead, I must work with my four sexy-as-sin mentors to uncover the truth of my new reality.
Things are about to take a deadly turn.
Welcome to Afterworld Academy where the price of admission...is your life.
Dearly Departed is book one of a three book series by bestselling authors, Loxley Savage and Katie May. This is a reverse harem romance meaning that the main character won't have to choose between her love interests. This is medium-burn and does contain strong language and sexual themes. Oh, and death. Lots and lots of death. Book one will end in a cliffhanger.
*Note from Authors
The main character does pass away from cancer (which is how she ends up in the Afterworld Academy). Please keep this in mind while reading, especially if that may be triggering to you. We would love for you to read our book, but we want you to take care of yourself.

LOVED this series. I'm not sure I would classify it as a romantic comedy, but I suppose it technically fits the definition. There were some plot twists I didn't love, but I did finish the series! Really enjoyed this one.
A wolf shifter, gorgeous incubus, and sexy billionaire twins. They’re all dangerous. And they all want me. Welcome to the Academy of the Elites.
When I somehow summon fire in an act of self defense, I’m given two choices by the magic cops: attend some stuck-up magic school, or go to magic jail.
There go my plans for the next year. Apparently, I have Untamed Magic, whatever that means. And I’ve got a year to get it under control at this magic academy that’s basically a finishing school for the elite. Everyone here is somebody important. And rich. Except for me.
Which paints quite the target on my back. Being the token poor kid is bad enough. Throw in that I somehow form a mating bond with four of the school’s most eligible bachelors. Oh yeah, like the fact that someone is trying to kill me. FML.

This is a complete, four-book series. I liked learning about the magic system with our MC. It’s listed as a paranormal romance with werewolves, shifters, demons, and other fun surprises.
