Hello friends!
I usually have these themed posts buttoned up the night before. Unfortunately, I was/am distracted by the release of Loved by Daddy’s 4 Dirty Friends (BTW, those titles…cringe). I love this series! I already ordered the 4th book, and I’ve not finished the third.
BUT this is not the point of our post today. Today, we focus on more recently released books with some M/M action. The most popular themed posts on the blog are ones with MM or FF and Dark romances, so although this wasn’t a specific request, I think it still counts.
I’m working on another reader request now and am always looking for more from you all! Don’t hesitate to reach out; I enjoy looking for specific types of books. And if I feel like I’ve not done justice to a theme (I’m looking at you, dancer post), I set it aside and slowly start adding for a part 2. I can’t leave something half done!
As always, all images and descriptions are from Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, I earn commission from qualifying purchases.
Be well, and happy reading!

P.S. I’ve linked the other M/M posts here for easy access.
RH with M/M – Completed Series Edition
RH with M/M – Part 1
RH with M/M – Part 2
RH with M/M – Part 3
For as long as Luna can remember, she’s been a captive of her own weakness. An Omega. Useless. When her father arranges her mating with the Alpha of the Firewolf Pack, she knows she has no choice. For her pack’s sake, she has to accept and embrace this union. But the return of the chaos shatters everything, leading her to her fated mate, Rowan Savage, the brother of her would-be bonded.
Their relationship is forbidden, and there are still fragments of Luna’s past that she can’t abandon. Twin brothers Nate and Sam come back for her, claiming she is their mate as well. They’re rogues, exiles from the Wolfsbane pack, accused of murdering Luna’s brother–and yet, she can’t ever hope to let them go.
How is their four-way bond supposed to work? Luna has no idea. But her blood is on fire. Their kisses taste like death. And she is not afraid. She might be an Omega, but she will be a captive no longer.
Captive Omega is a why choose standalone novel, part of the Wolves of Chaos Valley shared universe series. It contains enough steam to drive your inner wolf feral, with an added dash of MM. You won’t find any twincest, but there will be graphic violence, gore, and profanity.

Woah. I’ve been forcing myself to finish samples because all I want to do is complete the book I’m currently reading. However, I was totally engrossed in this sample and wasn’t ready for it to be over!! I am finding SO MANY books I want to read. I’m really looking forward to this one too.
***This is prequel in the Apex Society Capers Series. Please see Let Us Prey for book one. We highly recommend reading this prior to book one.***
My name is Delores Diamond Drew, and I’ve got a bone to pick.
From an early age, I knew I didn’t want to be part of the cutthroat society my predator family sits at the top of, nor did I ascribe to their legacy of division and elitism.
It’s all such utter BS.
However, I was brainwashed to believe that if I wanted to live a successful life, I would sit still, shut up, and look pretty. And if I didn’t mold myself to their expectations, the threat of death was never too far off. So I’ve played their games in hopes I can live long enough to find my own way.
But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel–Apex Academy. If I can make a good impression during my campus tour, then I’ll no longer be living under the same roof as my scheming parents, free to make my own decisions, free to find out who I am.
And the fact the academy seems to be crawling with hot-bod professors sure doesn’t hurt.
Here I come, early admission!
Unfortunately, life has a way of sneaking up on you and I’m starting to suspect that what I think is real is just more smoke and mirrors. When the truth finally comes to light, I may have to finally decide whether I continue to obey…or burn these expectations to the ground.

I’ll be frank, I don’t understand why this is listed as a prequel. What makes this different than just being book one of a series? I am plagued by this question, my poor anal brain is super upset about semantics. Sigh.
This prequel sounds interesting. I’m engaged enough to want to read, even though the next book doesn’t come out until April of this year. It doesn’t appear that there is any MM in this book, but that there will be later in the series.
I’m certifiably insane. Just ask my amazing therapist. He’s my soulmate and a vampiric serial killer. There’s no one I’d rather stalk more.
Except no more late night slinking for me. I’m in The Asylum, committed as a danger to myself and others. They tell me I’m delusional, which they aren’t wrong…except about what.
See, this place is made for supernaturals too dangerous to let roam free. The doctors, the staff, the family members that helped put us here are all in on it, trying to convince us magic is just another delusion. They plan to keep us here forever–sedated and docile.
Aren’t we all just perfect test subjects for inhumane experiments? Well, the doctors think so at least.
Yeah… it’s time to bust out of the loony bin. Unfortunately for our zookeepers we’re the most dangerous supernaturals there are and we haven’t been taking our medicine.
A genetically modified super alpha wolf monster. An ultra rare basilisk, so venomous he can’t leave any skin exposed. My dreamy serial killing vampire therapist.
Oh, and me. A genetic marvel, one of the few dhamphyr to ever exist and probably, just a little… more crazy than most.
Nighty, night Asylum. Don’t let the nightmares bite.
Author Note: Full-length STANDALONE! This is a why choose/reverse harem dark paranormal romance where the female lead does not need to choose between her three male love interests. There are m/m scenes, steam, and mature themes including: violence, language, and etc..
Thoughts from Paige
I’ve had this book on my list for a while now, ever since it was nominated as one of the Best RH of 2021 here on the site. This may just be my next read, the author packs so much in a single sentence.
“Stalkers weren’t supposed to accidentally stalk serial killers and they definitely weren’t supposed to abruptly realize they weren’t the craziest one in their obsessive relationship.” Woah. I learned a crap ton about our FMC from that line alone.
I LOVE when authors assume we can keep up, and don’t spell everything out for us. Please keep in mind I’ve read exactly one page of the first chapter. I couldn’t let myself go on because I want to finish the book I started at 4 am today.
Okay I lied, I read to the beginning of the second page too and had to stop at “murder cooler”. Seriously, thank you to whoever nominated this book. I’ve just bumped it up on my TBR list.
Update: I’m going to leave my initial thoughts here. It fits this theme request, if my memory serves me correctly.
After being sold to the Bone Crushers Motorcycle Club, Sasha is determined to survive long enough to ensure her fellow captives’ escape. When the Soul Reapers MC crash the very auction set to determine her people’s fate, it’s hard for Sasha to believe this new rival pack is any better.
To make matters worse, the Blood Moon rises and a powerful magic is unleashed. Sasha finds herself irrevocably drawn to not one, not two, but three undeniably sexy yet brutally efficient killers. When a single moment in time sets her world on fire, how is she meant to resist the feral allure of the Chaos?
Grimm, Mongrel and Silver have dedicated their fearsome reputations to eradicating the skin trade in the valley. As the Blood Moon returns to the sky, bloody carnage erupts and the three Soul Reapers run slap bang into their fated mate. Only to discover she is human.
Protecting their charges from feral wolves–including their own brave and stubborn Sasha–just got a heck of a lot harder. Will the Soul Reapers be able to resist the pull of the Chaos? Or will they give in to the magic baiting their wildest instincts and bond the fierce human as their fated mate?
Doing the wrong thing never felt so right.
SOUL OF THE CHAOS is a paranormal MC romance written by K.O. Newman and Miri Stone. This standalone is a steamy AF, reverse harem, wolf shifter novel. With over 145K words ending on a steamy HEA/HFN, it’s chock-full of sexually explicit scenes (including MM, MFM, MMF, MMFM and MFMM), action-packed fight sequences, fated mates battling it out for dominance, violence, cussing and lashings of steam.
This book also deals with adult themes like human trafficking which some readers may find triggering. R18+ readers only, please!
Thoughts from Paige
I did not read this sample. There is a trigger warning that it deals with human trafficking, which I won’t read about. I’ve read the reviews, and it doesn’t sound like it is a massive part of the story. Maybe one of you has read it and can let us know how prevalent the trafficking is?
At any rate, lots of people have loved this book. There are many positive reviews. It sounds like a good choice if you are looking for a dark RH with m/m!
Each year, the Knightwood Academy chooses the best of the best to join them.
Males from different factions are sent there to train.
This year, it’s my brother’s turn to take part, but sickness eats at his body every day, making it impossible for him to take part in the training.
I have no choice but to take his place, not only to save him from dying during training but also because I need the money for his medicine. It’s my job as his sister to do this for him.
I’m not worried. I know I can do this. I’m as fast and deadly as any man. My father made sure both my brother and I are very capable with a sword.
At the Academy, I have to share a room with the four men who will now be my unit. We have been ordered to grow close by sharing every moment of every day with each other.
My new unit mates don’t believe I will be able to keep them alive in the coming trials, because of my size, but I would prove them wrong no matter what it takes.
If they find out who I really am, I’ll be sentenced to death, and if no one can pay for my brother’s medicine, he’ll share in my fate.
Will I be able to keep my identity a secret to save my brother’s life?
I’m not sure, but I have to try.
It’s my only option.
Warning: Knightwood Academy is set in its own Dystopian world.
Slow-burn and dark Reverse Harem novel. Triggering elements appear in the story.
Thoughts from Paige
I enjoyed this book a lot. A LOT happened in this book, and I was super excited for book 2. However, I did set book two aside for now because it’s building up to what I think will be a pretty traumatizing scene, and I’m just not quite ready to bear it yet. But I WILL keep reading this series; I’m enjoying it.
There’s nothing special about me—I checked. Abandoned and orphaned as a baby, now scraping through life on the streets of London, I’m no one’s idea of a queen. Except one night I find myself being hunted by a bloodthirsty beast, moments from death, when a gorgeous stranger swoops out of nowhere to rescue me…
…by dragging me through a portal into the fae realm.
Now I’m in a strange new London that holds the secrets of my past, a mysterious prophecy to save all of faekind, and four princes from each of the fae courts apparently destined to be my lovers.
Yep. All four of them. Sweet and innocent Ezra, my sexy saviour Aubrey, wounded and grumpy Vyncent, and…well the less said about the infuriating Lucian, the better.
But even with four powerful fae shifters to protect me, I’m not out of danger. There are forces out there that will stop at nothing to defy the prophecy, which mostly means the end of the line for me…
The Bloom Court is the first book in the Taken by the Fae series, which features ongoing storylines, scenes of an adult nature between a queen and all her princes, as well as princes who love each other as much as their queen, danger and action, swearing, drinking, and other fun stuff. Medium burn, medium angst. The second book, The Ember Court, is available to pre-order today!

Totally unrelated-I think the colors used for the covers are beautiful. I don’t know if the colors will tie into the books at all, but I think the designs are really well-done color-wise.
I do believe I’m sensing a bit of fated mates here, and I am super curious to know if the Razor monster or whatever was really laughing at her. Was it truly trying to kill her? So many things I want to know! Hopefully I like the books just as much as the sample.
An unprecedented storm. An uncertain future. And some really hot sex.
When a winter storm like nothing the Pacific Northwest has ever seen traps a group of friends in a remote cabin, at first it seems like a fantastic time. They have a fire, they have food, and they are committed to keeping each other warm, in any way necessary. As things get more serious, they’ll have to find strength and trust between them to survive.
Will Katie and her three men conquer the wintery world? Or will they find the challenges are more than their burgeoning relationship can handle?
*This book contains explicit language and adult situations, evidence of violence and mayhem, really cold toes, various injuries, sword crossing, MMFM, MM, and MF scenes and creepy people on snowmobiles.
Note: This book is part of a series that originally appeared on Kindle Vella. The book has a HFN ending for our characters, but the snowy apocalypse will continue for a few more books, so there are some questions left unanswered at the end of Part One. If you hate cliffhangers, you might consider waiting until Book 2 is released in February!
Thoughts from Paige
I love me a good disaster book!
Be advised that chapter one is from a male LIs POV. I was totally confused for a second and had to re-read the entire chapter. I somehow thought the name Jake next to the Chapter 1 meant the chapter title was Jake… I need a coffee pronto.
This was initially published as a Vella novel? I’ve not read any of those, and I’m not one for a serial story. However, the writing is crisp and clear, and I like the book so far. I’ve downloaded it and am hoping I can make myself wait until part two is released because the author was kind enough to warn about a cliff.
Half fae. Half dragon. All theirs.
Five hot dragons stole me from Earth to be their queen, so I’d better learn fast.
I was abandoned on Earth as a baby, but I never thought I came from another world… one where I’m destined to be queen.
When a naked dragon shifter walks out of a lake to rescue me from my screwed-up ex, Drake and his best friends whisk me out of my screwed-up life and into a dangerous land of spies and secrets, dusty thrones and fragile eggs. The four dragons claim me as their queen and mate. All of them. At once. Jackpot, right?
But my new life comes with hard days and hot nights. The prophecy says the bonds I build with the elemental dragons will save Aviare from one man’s craving for power. I just have to learn to use my newfound powers, hold my own in a magical fight, claim our ancestral castle, call up an army, raise my dragonets… and save the world.
Oh, and persuade my men not to kill Ever, our fifth mate. He may be a traitor, but he holds the clues to my past and the keys to our future.
Either I become who I was born to be, or we all perish.
It’s time to embrace the flame.
The Fae Dragon’s Harem is a complete paranormal reverse harem FMMMMM series with MM scenes. Scroll up to read now, and dive into a whole new world of magic, danger, and passion… and five dragon shifters who won’t let anything get between them and the queen who will save dragonkind.

I remember reading book one of this series, but for some reason set it aside. I finished the entirety of book one, so perhaps the issue was the next book wasn’t released yet, and I never returned? At any rate, the entire series is available in one book and for one audible credit. Binge away, my friends!
Edit to add: One of our lovely readers let me know that our FMC lays eggs throughout the series, so heads up to ya’ll. I’m wondering now if this was why I set it aside originally? I just delved more in-depth into reviews, and the egg bit comes up quite a lot; some reviewers find it problematic on a couple of different fronts. So just a heads up, definitely give the sample a try before you buy!
Welcome to Emerson Grove, with our fantastic university, suburban lifestyle, and the city nearby, you’re never going to want to leave.
I almost believe their slogan, until my ride drives off, leaving me on the doorstep of a pretty house to reveal a blast from the past.
Leaving one lion’s den, I’ve fallen straight into another.
I didn’t agree to this part.
To…them.
I cherished my past, and the memories I shared with these guys until I was whipped away in the dead of night, and now they hate me for it.
Jagger. Jameson. Leo. Ezra.
They might be trouble, but I’m still the reckless, outspoken girl I’ve always been. I was made for them, but they’ve forgotten that fact. It’s like our history never happened.
Things have changed, and they’re keeping secrets. I’ll find out what’s going on, whether they like it or not.
I’m Luella Carter, and Emerson U is mine.
Watch Me Fall is book one in the Emerson U Series, which is an MM RH novel which includes steamy scenes and violence. Making it recommended for those aged over 17.

I’ll admit, I couldn’t read the prologue. The kids are 15 and having sex on ‘screen’. I don’t want to read about kids having sex. Maybe it’s mama bear in me, but nope. Nope nope nope. So if you are like me, skip the prologue! I could have done with it just being a thing that was mentioned, it happened but not on the pages.
At any rate, this does fit my goal for the post. Newer books with m/m. I finished reading the sample, seems like there is going to be a fair amount of angst and mystery.
