Reverse Harems on Libby

Hello, my lovely friends,

We have almost made it to the weekend. I hope you and yours are safe and well.

The request for this post was Reverse Harem Books found on Libby.

Since this week was National Library Week, It seemed an appropriate time for it.

My library does use Overdrive/Libby, but my understanding is that not all libraries have the same books. I am not an expert, so if you see a book listed here but not on your portal, perhaps check with your library about getting access to it.

I also noticed that Reverse Harems seem to be more available in audio form rather than e-book form. I wonder why that is.

At any rate, below are some Reverse Harem books available on Libby/Overdrive.

All images and descriptions are from Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, I earn commission from qualifying purchases.

Be well, and happy reading!
Paige

P.S. I just listened to the audio version of Chaos by JB Trepagnier. LOVE it. They have different voices for the harem members. I think this may be my new favorite audio style for reverse harems.

Amazon Description

Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. The Academy of the Devil is waiting, and there will be no mercy.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the girl who didn’t fit in, the girl who collapsed in the middle of class, just because my brain decided to turn on me. I can’t really complain, though. We don’t live in the Middle Ages, so I have yet to be subjected to an exorcism. I can get treatment for my condition. Epilepsy aside, I can mostly be a normal person and have a normal life.
There’s just one problem. I’m not a normal person. I never have been. And the first time I find this out is upon receiving an exclusive invitation to The Academy of the Devil.
Unfortunately, The Academy of the Devil isn’t like other schools and the current princes of the school have a lot of experience in ripping whatever contender they have to shreds. First, there’s Callum, incubus extraordinaire and leader of the house of Lust. He thrives on making students fall in love with him and then breaking their spirits. Then there’s Mikael, the envious cambion, rumored to enjoy feeding students to the school’s dragon. And last, but not least, the leader of the house of Wrath, the hell hound Stefan. I hear he doesn’t bother with the dragon and just takes care of pests himself.
All of them despise humans. All of them sneer at anyone who displays any kind of weakness. All of them hate me and everything I stand for. That’s fine. I don’t need friends, lovers, or even valued mentors. All I need is to survive my school years with my soul, my sanity and my brain intact.
It’ll be a challenge, but I’ve dealt with worse. I might not be ready for the Academy of the Devil, but they’re not ready for me either.

The Academy of the Devil is a 74k paranormal bully reverse harem romance. All characters involved in the pairing are 18+ years old. But be advised! The series will contain dark themes, including violence, ableism, bullying of a character suffering from an invisible disability, and other similar content that may be disturbing for some readers. Approach with caution. Once you enter The Academy of the Devil, you will never be the same.

Thoughts from Paige

I LOVED book one.  I alternated between listening and reading, and I thoroughly enjoyed both. I am looking forward to the rest of the series!

**Completed Series**

Not your typical reverse harem…

Gryphon shifter Gesa Lionheart isn’t your typical heroine. Screwed over by her family—a stunningly medieval gryphon clan that is supposed to value loyalty and truth—the former bodyguard sets out on her own to a remote city growing in the Michigan wilderness. With little in the way of life skills outside her clan training, and no one to depend on, she becomes a bounty hunter—chasing down low-level supernatural criminals for the local human police department.

Gesa knew life would be hard outside the clan, but she had no way of predicting just how strange her life would become, all thanks to a beautiful but dangerous male fae and a simple missing person’s case. Now she’s over her head in a world that isn’t what it seems, where humans can almost see the truth, rich supe philanthropists make people disappear with ease, and harem lion prides aren’t just for males….

Gryphon’s Pride is a reverse harem romance novella with an urban fantasy feel. Starts as a medium burn romance in this first book (ie: fewer sex scenes), and increases from there. Suitable for mature readers (and those with a sense of humor) only. If swearing, sex, or talk of past trauma are offensive to you, this might not be your thing.

Author’s Note:
I was tired of reading the same old thing over and over again in reverse harem. Sick of all alpha male and fainting female all the time—and desperate to be able to tell the male characters apart—I tried to infuse some variety into my story. Gesa might not be your cup of tea, and that’s okay—she doesn’t care. Her lovers are as varied in physicality and personality as they are in supernatural race. And the characters all have their own definition of sexuality. I know reverse harem is all about the fantasy, and my fantasy is a bit outside the norm. You’ve been warned.

Story length definitions:
Flash fiction: 200-2,000 words
Short story: 1,500-7,500 words
Novelette: 7,500-15,000 words
Novella: 15,000-40,000 words
Novel: 50,000 words and up.

*Gesa’s Menagerie books are novellas of between 30,000-40,000 words. Lighter fun with a focus on romance and adventure.
*This is a series. There will be unresolved plot threads at times/ occasional cliff hangers.
*Do NOT read this series if you are easily offended. Contains: mentions of past trauma/rape, adult language (that’s cursing kids, lots of it), and sexual content (including male/female, male/male, female/female, male/male/female, female/female/male and any other combination you can think of. Oh, and probably some tentacles and diphallia).

A walk in the woods proved almost deadly and left me changed forever. I was attacked by a rogue wolf, and now, I belong to the Crimson Hollow pack. I'm a shifter. If dealing with all that wasn't enough, wolves are disappearing. We must discover who is behind it, or there won’t be a pack left to fight over.

I quite liked this book, I haven't read the rest of the series.  It's on my TBR pile though!

When Tabitha is kidnapped by the man they're investigating, the guys discover there's a fine line between love and hate. To find her, they're willing to burn the town down. But heaven forbid she's hurt... because then the claws will come out. For no one touches their Tabby except them.

I was a small town girl trapped in a desperate situation...until three hunky bank robbers took me hostage!

True, I'd always dreamed of escaping that place, but not quite like that.

Then I found out about their rules. These guys have more rules than a grammar class! But unlike grammar class, their rules are hot. And kinky. And super exciting to memorize.

Except I'm never supposed to ask their real names. Or where they're from, or why they lead this life.

And we can never, ever think about tomorrow.

Here's a secret: I'm starting to suspect my tough-as-nails outlaws might have tender-as-taffy hearts.

And every night I go to sleep wishing this didn't have to end.

Amazon Description

Hi, I’m Alexis Delaney. I’m your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead. And push them away and, well, help them move on. So..okay, I’m not your average 17-year-old girl. For years I’ve been struggling to survive the souls still roaming around. The shitheads always seem to find me. Moving from town to town every few months never helped either. More dead just always find me. But things are changing for me now. I’m moving in with my uncle Rory and cousin Tara. I’m finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I’ve been missing out on. Right?

Well, if this one bitch of a ghost could leave me alone on campus that would be great. Especially since I haven’t told my new friends about my abilities. Can you believe this? Five good looking guys practically adopt me on my first day of school, and I still think they’re a bit nuts for it. Now if I can only just keep my life with the dead from mixing with my normal life, everything would be great. Yeah...I don’t see that happening either. But I’m going to give it a shot. Who knows? It might work.
