Reverse Harems – Loving & Supportive Family

Hi friends,

This request stumped me pretty good. I’ll admit, I don’t think any of these fully adhere to the request.  The full request is below.  Do any of you know of a RH that fits? The books I found either have loving families, or have a harem that is super loving and kind.  Or I’ve completely read the summary and reviews wrong.

Reader’s request: FMC finds her biological family and MMC can be her family’s friend or just someone who she meets after finding her family, I’m kind of looking for a book with loads of family love where they get reunited (lighthearted read)

Well, hopefully I got parts of that right.  Fingers crossed.  At the very least, I hope you find a new to you book to enjoy.

Be well, and happy reading!

Paige Alice has changed, but she’s not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

The good. Four annoying and different types of men, who she trusts with her life. A scary but faithful sidekick, and of course, her crazy family.

The bad…Everything else.

Contains mature themes.

Thoughts from Paige

I love this series so much I ended up with it in kindle, audio, and paper format. I’ve re-listened to this trilogy quite a few times. It’s even better on the re-read. So get ready to hold on to your seats. You are dropped right in. Our MC gets a large harem, but I can’t remember the final count. Love the relationship between our FMC and her sister, LOVE.

My story starts with a broken heart.

The O’Brien triplets swept back into my world like a storm. My life was just fine without them, thank you. I have a job I’m proud of, predictable routines… I even made peace with what I lost.

We don’t belong together. They made that perfectly clear long ago.

But when I look at them, everything feels so right.

Abandoned is a paranormal, multi-partner romance by author Lyn Forester about redemption, forgiveness, and true love with an unexpected, magical push.

Amazon Description

When my aunt left her country house to me in her will, there was no mention of the fae that came along with it. It didn’t take long for them to introduce themselves, however.

Evan – Controlled and suave. His composure drives me crazy. I’d do anything to get him to lose control.

Reed – Muscular and handy. Despite getting off to a rough start, he seems genuinely concerned about me.

Kaison – Sexy but emotionally unavailable. He was my first crush and kiss. Unfortunately, he stole something from me ten years ago.

Callum – Diabolically adorable. Shhh….Don’t tell the others, but I think he’s my favorite.

When they crash into my life, I never realized they were everything I was missing. Too bad they are betrothed to another. Even worse because Kaison owes me a debt. I can’t be free of them until we’re square.

If I survive this with my sanity still intact, I’ll consider myself lucky. In order to be happy, though, I might just have to surrender to the chaos that surrounds them.

**Warning** This book contains graphic sex scenes (some group and some involving male/male sexual scenarios). As such, this book intended for adults only. If you are not eighteen years old or older, keep on scrolling. This is not the book for you.

The Southern Aristocracy brought together by one woman – Dahlia Aldridge.

I had lived here most of my life in a blissful state of ignorance, surrounded by a loving family and the other residents of Wildberry Lane. Specifically, their sons – the heirs to some of the largest fortunes in the country. I had grown used to them acting as my shadows, protecting me and surrounding me with enough affection that I never questioned if their words were in fact the truth.
Then the Brooks twins came to town. Suddenly, everything I had known about myself was being shattered as they dug up my worst insecurities and exploited them to the world. I began questioning everything.
Kingston Ross. Stratton Lee. Yates Carter. Lincoln & Sterling Gates.
They have been able to protect me from everything… but myself. My boys carry a darkness inside of them that has never scared me. The shadows of deeds done at night, away from the spotlight of being who we were in this societal hierarchy. They think I’m afraid of that, but they couldn’t be farther from the truth.
I wasn’t afraid of their darkness.
I wasn’t afraid of my feelings for them, ones that had grown from friendship into so much more.
I wasn’t even afraid of expressing that to them… eventually.
What I was afraid of? That I would hurt those around me with my shame and pain.
I would just have to perfect the art of suffering in silence.

Wildberry Lane – Home to the extremely wealthy and powerful Southern elite.

Perfection of Suffering, book 1 in The Shadows of Wildberry Lane trilogy, is M. Sinclair’s debut contemporary reverse harem novel. This work features a naive female character hiding a dark secret of her own, the men in her life that will do anything to keep her safe, and a scandal that stretches far beyond the safety of Wildberry Lane’s gate.

Warning: This book does contain sexual content for +18, swearing, violence, and triggers when it comes to specifically, but not limited to, eating disorders and bullying. Important to note, the bullying is NOT done by the harem, but rather outside sources. This is a slow/medium burn series.

What happens when she feels drawn to all five Houses and all five men who have captured her attention, and possibly her heart? Will she be doomed to a life of a Commoner? Will society and the kingdom shun her? Or have the Fates already chosen her destiny?

***This is a slow-burn reverse harem with a strong fantasy plot which includes intrigue, world-building, and character development.***

Thoughts from Paige

I’m still bit sick, so I’ll admit I didn’t give this book its due.  I only read the prologue, but I did like the premise of the story.  I’ll have to return to it when I’m feeling better to see if the writing style works for my brain.

Update: I never came back to it, but I just downloaded the sample again.  I still like the premise of the story, maybe second time is the charm to actually give it a shot! Sounds like the FMC has a supportive family and not a traumatic background, we shall see.

Sometimes Biology can make you; sometimes it can break you.
For Jade, living with a sweet old couple and volunteering at an animal shelter is a world away from living on the streets like a beaten dog. But when she meets five returned vets living rough in the forest and starts seeing weird things, she has to wonder if her lost memory and the men are somehow connected.
It is unheard for Danan warriors to find their podmate before the age of thirty, so when a pod of five young Danans meets Jade, the youngest human captive rescued from the Lyations, they don’t understand what is happening to them. But before they can properly find out, Jade is sent back to Earth and her memory of her time on an alien planet light-years from home wiped, supposedly forever.
Driven by their biology, the young alien warriors follow her to Earth against orders. And when poachers try to abduct Jade once again, her pod has no choice but to save her and go on the run from both the poachers and the Confederacy. Because, when a podmate is found, no matter their age, nothing can be allowed to keep them apart.

  1. For the prompt “FMC finds her biological family and MMC can be …someone who she meets after finding her family” (but not hitting the ‘lighthearted’ or truly focused-on-family vibe asked for), the Veil Diaries series by B. L. Brunnemer and The Bound Spirit series by H.A. Wills technically both count! The first only has snippets of family, but I remember some cute interactions with the uncle she goes to live with. And Bound Spirit gets pretty involved in the family plot line and family heritage through her aunt getting involved in her life in later books, and the aunt she goes to live with is very kind to her and involved in other plot lines of the books. (Not a perfect match by any means, and hard to think of a family focused one that’s adult rather than YA, but just food for thought.) Thanks for compiling these!

    1. Oh! And just stumbled upon The Promise (Perpetually Broken #1) by Kerry Taylor, which appears to be the FMC had abusive parent, went into foster system, some more abuse, then heals with her father and half brother (and a found family alongside blood family)

    2. And just stumbled upon The Promise (Perpetually Broken #1) by Kerry Taylor which seems to have a FMC who’s family situation was bad, went into foster care, some more abuse, and then she heals with father and half brother (and some found family love interests)
