The requested theme of the week is to list my favorite Kindle Unlimited Reverse Harem reads. I’ve done two previous posts on contemporary and science fiction/fantasy. Many of the books listed there are available on Kindle Unlimited.
For this post, I’m going to focus on books that I’ve recently completed or am in the midst of completing. Many of these are also available on Audible. I listen to many of the books I read, especially around the holidays. I also really love quilting, and listening to a book means I can combine two hobbies. Win-win for me, not so much for my wallet, haha.
What is Kindle Unlimited
For those unfamiliar, Kindle Unlimited is an Amazon program where you pay a monthly fee and can borrow books available in their program. Similar to a library, but you have to pay for it directly. Not all books on Amazon are a part of Kindle Unlimited. There is a lot of chatter about the program and how authors are paid. I’m not in the industry, so I cannot comment, but you’ll definitely find articles if you search for them.
Is Kindle Unlimited worth it?
Maybe. To me, yes. Most books I read are available first within the Kindle Unlimited platform. Since the majority of the books I currently read are Reverse Harem, it likely means the books you read are available in Kindle Unlimited too. However, you should do your due diligence if you sign up for a free trial and ensure enough books are available to justify the monthly cost. If you read only one book a month, it probably isn’t worth it.
What about Audible?
I love Audible. I used to be a monthly subscriber but changed to an annual subscription where I get all my credits at once. I listen to several books a month.
My mom told me she could not listen to books while doing other activities, so if you aren’t a subscriber, I recommend you try a book while doing something else to see if it will work for you. As I mentioned above, I love to sew and listen to books while I work. I have a kiddo that I love to spend time with, so I need to pack as many hobbies as I can into the brief ‘me time moments. It works well for me.
Please note that there is a membership option for Audible Plus Catalog only. This gives you access to audiobooks similar to KU, but no monthly credit. Unfortunately, the books I read are NOT available in the catalog, and I do not recommend that subscription. It’s around $8/month at the time of writing and not worth it, in my opinion.
Audible Credits
Please be aware that if you have a Kindle Unlimited book ‘checked out’ from Amazon, Audible will often offer an automatic discount. Historically, the discounted price of the audiobook will be less than your subscription credit is worth, meaning that if you use a credit to buy the audio version, you will be paying more than it is worth.
However, recently this has appeared to have changed, at least for the books I read. Now the discounted price is usually around the same as what my credit is worth, so I use my credit to buy it. I still double-check, just in case it makes more financial sense to buy the audio version directly rather than using a credit.
Hoopla/Libby/Overdrive
The library has a TON of Reverse Harem books available to read. I recommend you check your local site to see if you can borrow a book. Nothing beats free! I’ve done some library posts here, and you can always request a book be added to your library.
I hope some of that detail helps you make informed decisions about different programs.
As always, all descriptions and images are from Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, I earn commission from qualifying purchases.
Be well, and happy reading!

A slow-burn romance, but still with steamy situations, adult language, and content dealing with an abusive ex, this story is a #whychoose for adults.

Thoughts from Paige
I quite liked this booked. I ended up buying it and pre-ordering the sequel so it wouldn't fall off my radar.
One bite changed my life.
I was living life to the fullest when a wolf attacked.
Now I’ve been ripped from my home and shipped off to Bad Moon Academy, a place for changed wolves. Or so I’m told.
There’s something sinister lurking within the confines of the academy, and I’m starting to think I was brought here as a sacrifice.
This is a dark academy reverse harem with dangerously possessive shifters.

I couldn't make it through the sample. I was trying to read it while waiting for the kiddo to sleep, and the writing was so good I started to feel anxious in this dark room all alone, save the kid. Gave me chills. I will 100% be reading this book, but I'll be starting it when it is daylight. Apparently, I'm a scardey cat right now.
You’d think as the princess to the House of Death, that I would be looked at with respect. You would be wrong.
A reject—that’s the best way to describe how I’m treated. All because I’m a hybrid. The Monarchs of Hell revere pure bloodlines and perfection above all else, and in their eyes...I’m a mutt.
Good thing Dear Old Dad, the Grim Reaper, has never once looked at me as anything other than his favorite child. Well, I’m his only child, but semantics.
Suddenly he has tasked me with the job of going to the Council Summit in his place. An event that happens once every century to determine which Royal House will be voted into the Supreme position. A position people would kill for.
Why he thought the person they all regard as trash, is the right person to represent our House is beyond me, but I come to find myself grateful for this chance. Because it allows me to meet them.
The princes of each of the other five Houses who make me feel like an equal for the first time in my life. They ignite a fire within me that I’ve never felt before and it scares me. It’s the type of need that I’ve hoped to never feel due to that side of me... my Succubus side.
Because what they don’t know is that I’m a fatal attraction. A kiss with me is the kiss of death. Literally.
While attempting to convince myself and them that this can’t work, we’re thrown into a war between the six houses for control.
Who will survive in this game of deceit and seduction?
Author Note: This book has a 18+ warning and is intended for mature audiences. It is book one in the Monarchs of Hell series which will end in a cliffhanger.
Thoughts from Paige
I devoured this series! I believe I felt irritated about miscommunication and moments of TSTL, but overall I loved it, and ended up getting all the books on audible.
My life and reputation are a total mess.
My new label wants to resurrect my career by sending me on tour with the smokin' hottest rock band on the planet. That includes the lead singer, Zeke, who I 'met' in a dark corner of a club the other night.
Getting stuck in a terrifying situation with a man wielding a gun, barely counts as getting to know one another, but it soon becomes clear none of the members of this band are what they seem.
Now I'm getting tangled tighter with six attractive guys. They all have difficult pasts. And powerful families who want them back at all costs.
Each of these dangerous guys holds a secret darker than the next.
Will their secrets destroy us before we find out whether or not the feelings we have are real?
**This is a reverse harem, rock star romance with big instruments, mm and mafia families.**
I wake up surrounded by death and my memories are gone.
A man in a beige hazmat suit reaches his hand through the carnage. “Come with me if you want to live.” I know I’m supposed to know that from somewhere, but I don’t. I know the world outside me is not right. People either die or they are Rage Heads. Somehow, a virus got out that has turned people into red eyed freaks who eat flesh. They are fast, their flesh is rotting off their bodies and they have one goal—kill.
I don’t know my mystery man in the hazmat suit, but he says I can trust him. He was at that lab looking for something. He claims not to have found it. He only found me. I see the way he looks at me when I ask what he was doing in that lab. I might feel safe with him, but he’s lying to me. He knows everything about me, including the nickname people used to call me, but he tells me I ask too many questions. Maybe I’d be safer on my own.
The Pale Rider is Book 1 of End of Days, a Post Apocalyptic slow burn reverse harem romance. The harem will slowly grow as the books progress. The harem features the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
When my family died at the hands of a demon prince, I hung up my exorcist hat. I’d failed to protect them, and while I was willing to risk myself, the price had risen too high.
Now I’m serving up hot, fresh pizzas to everyone who wants them. I was the only person left to inherit the family business and I’m doing my best to keep it up and running in honor of my loved ones.
These days, my biggest challenge is telling off a rampaging customer, and endless paperwork. That is, until he shows up again.
Darius was the only guy I couldn’t say no to, the one who dragged me into the world of the occult in the first place. When he shows up and begs me to assist with an exorcism, I reluctantly agree. He’s still using me; because I’m the best exorcist around and he only calls when he needs my help.
Before I know it, I’ve got an incubus in the living room, a hellhound marking around my yard, and a demon prince who can’t decide if he wants to kill me or… you know. Not to mention the vampire and the nephilim I seem to have collected. Normally I wouldn’t work with the supernatural, but we all have a common goal. Prevent the crime syndicate from summoning a demon prince and becoming more powerful than we can hope to handle.
If I can keep my cool, it will be a miracle. If I can hold on to my soul it’ll be an even bigger one. No one ever claimed being an exorcist was easy, but to protect those I’m coming to love, I’ll pay whatever price necessary.
This book is intended for mature audiences. 18+ readers only! It contains language and sexual situations. This is a medium burn reverse harem where the girl gets all the guys. Why Choose? Harem members added as series progresses.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. For some reason, the blurb just didn't do it for me, but boy am I glad I picked it up. The audio version is fantastic too. I'm super excited to devour this series.
