One day, a stranger showed up that reminded her of Zirc. The stranger's features strongly resembled him that she allowed herself to travel with this new guy, find Zirc, then find out why she can’t stop craving for him. And yeah, maybe slap him for leaving her alone. And then thank him for saving her. The stranger helped fix her communicator so the locals could understand her. The stranger, she found out much later, is Zirc’s lover and 'intended' mate.

It’s too late to go back to where Zirc left her because now the enemy knows her and the Manasties have more questions she doesn’t know how to answer.
