For those of you that missed the teaser, and release info post, welcome to the review. Beauregard And The Beast is a Contemporary M/M Sports Romance novel. I’ve read plenty of M/M, as it is one of my favorite tropes. What I have never read is a M/M Contemporary Sport Romance.
This review will not include spoilers as I wouldn’t want to ruin it for you! As you’ll notice, Beauregard And The Beast is listed as number 88 in the Dreamspun Desires Series. This has no correlation between this book and the previous installments. You’re welcome to read books 1-87, but completely unnecessary. I do not plan to read them. If you took one look at my tbr…you wouldn’t either.
Beast (also known as Adam Littrell) is our delicious UFC champ of whatever weight belt. (I am not a sports person. Lol, ask me about McLaren’s , Bugatti’s, or even the new 2020 Stingray coming out and I’m your girl. Sports…I’m going to derp.) Adam radiates a surly persona, and is as organized as a drunk frat boy. Adam is training for the fight in his career that will determine whether he continues to fight, or retires.
Beauregard, or Bo is so stinkin cute. His character is just this adorable little snarky package that seems mild and meek, but rest assured he owns his very own sassy pants. Bo is hired as a Personal Assistant to The Beast to help keep the prized fighter on track for his possible last fight.
The chemistry between these two characters is amusing from the moment they meet. As a reader, you don’t really know exactly how they are going to respond to one another because they are such polar opposites. What you do get to experience, I found, was a wonderful love story. A love story of 2 characters who couldn’t be more different, have more than they thought in common.

To be frank, I wasn’t sure what to expect with a sports romance. Evie Drae is a new indie author for me, and she blew my expectations away. Hopefully, she will blow your expectations away as well.
