Hello friends!
I hope May is starting nicely for you.
The reader’s request was for harems with anti-heroes or villains. When I first got the request, I thought it would be easy to pull since I love those prickly bad boys that save the day. But, of course, when it came time to make this post, my mind drew a blank. Darn you book hangovers!
I had a lot of fun looking for books that fit the spirit of the request. Hopefully, you’ll find one or two you haven’t read before.

Will they try to control her? Yes
Will they bend her to their will? Definitely

One by one, they claim her.
One by one, she shatters their walls.

Love will be enough to tame her convicts.
She’s betting her life on it…

Auctioned to the Convicts (book 1 of Prison World series) is a steamy reverse harem romance with an enemies to lovers trope set on a prison planet where women are scarce and love even scarcer. Hannah’s story continues in Protected by the Convicts.

I am pretty sure I read this book and the sequel, and I believe that I liked it. If it is the book I'm remembering, then it was one I stumbled across and don't usually read, but I quite liked it.
Saint might be my last name, but they’re determined to make me into a sinner.
My father is dead. My home is ash. And my mother and I are one step away from death ourselves. Our only protection against the Devil’s Sons MC? The St. Vincent family, who rule Blackmoor.
When I run into Cayde, Dean, and Jaxon for the first time on the steps of my new prep school, I don’t think twice about it. Even with all the rumors surrounding them, I know how to take care of myself.
But when I embarrass Cayde St. Vincent, I wind up with a target on my back. A target that, unbeknownst to me, is going to follow me way past high school.
When I wake up in their house on the university campus on the first day of the semester with no memory of how I got there, all I want to do is leave. But they’ve got me under contract.
A contract that threatens my life, and my mother’s life, if I break it.
Soon enough, I realize they want to break me.
Cayde St. Vincent. Dean Blackmoor. Jaxon King.
The three heirs to the town of Blackmoor.
And now? My worst nightmare.
Cruel Lord is the first book in the Blackmoor Heirs series. It is a bully series. It contains material that may be sensitive to some readers. There are no heroes in this series, only deliciously devious villains. It will get much darker before the dawn. This book is for those who like their men cruel and damaged, their romance dark and questionable, and their emotions toyed with until the very end.
In order to save her people, she must marry her enemies.
I’m the Shattered Isle princess.
I’ve grown up on horror stories about the four All Plane princes, and now I’ve been promised to them as their bride in order to usher in peace between our two warring realms.
First, I have to earn their trust.
Second, I must do what my father raised me to do—kill them all.
But the task is almost impossible when each of the princes have an unflinching need to claim me as theirs.
The chemistry between us is electric.
They’re danger and desire and forbidden temptation, and I’ve never tasted anything as sinfully sweet.
When secrets are unveiled, I realize there is more to my villains than I ever thought possible. Now I’m in a battle with my heart, and choosing the wrong side of this war could cost me everything.
Her Villains is a reverse harem fantasy with enemies to lovers themes, some violence, and steamy scenes for readers 18+.

I would be remiss not to include a recently released book so obviously meant for this type of post.
Lily has been alone for most of her life. Held as a captive. Used as a weapon.
The mercenaries who ‘rescue’ her are as intriguing as they are brutal, but Lily is still a pawn in the games of men. They’ll use her and cast her aside if she lets them. That’s if she survives what comes next…
Quin, Commander of the Dark Army, has only one goal and will let Lily die if it serves his purposes, but he’s also drawn to her in a way that makes him wish for more. No one is safe from Mad Mal, a monster who kills to satisfy dark needs. He will make her pay for tempting the other beast he hides within. And the playful Bastian seems harmless, with a taste for wine and women, but he might just harbor the darkest soul of them all...and the darkest secrets.
Each man has his own twisted torments and fierce desires that Lily cannot fathom after her years a captive. But as the days and nights go by, she begins to realize she needs something she never thought she’d have and it may not be the freedom she always yearned for at all.
Can she unlock the hearts of these men who care for nothing and no one to find the pieces of themselves they buried long ago, or will they decide their mission is more important than the woman who brings them to their knees?
Kept to Kill is the third standalone in the Dark Brothers Series of dark fantasy romance. If you like strong, but desolate heroines, antiheroes that make your blood run cold even as it heats up, and your Happily Ever Afters with some darkness before the light, you will love this book.

Authors Note / WARNING: This story contains dubcon, knife play, m/m, angst for the FMC, and, although she can hold her own, things are not great for Lily at first. If you don’t enjoy that kind of story, continue at your own risk.
**You don’t need to have read the other books in the Dark Brothers series to enjoy this story, but it helps.**
Have you ever been so exhausted you feel it deep in your soul?
After twenty-four years living in this seedy town and six years in the business of serving seedy men, that's me.
So. Damn. Tired.
Every day, I dream of becoming a wanderer — me and my trusty home on wheels taking life on the road. Every night, I striptease to turn those daydreams into a reality.
Bikers from around the nation ride in for Gulf Coast Bike Week every spring and fall. Under the thumb of a local motorcycle gang, the dancers at Tit for Tat Saloon take good care of them.
"Dance for just one more motorcycle rally," I told myself.
That was three years ago, before I was claimed by a member of a rival club. Twice a year, he visits me along with the rest of his brigade.
While they are here, I tend to their needs.
This season, though, hackles are raised; local outlaws are whispering concerns that Hell for Leather is up to no good. A buzz of weariness in my bones warns that this hidden agenda will affect their favorite saloon girl.
Trouble is, I care. Too much. The men who make up their group will get me — all of me. Willingly. Regardless of how it chips away at my already-damaged soul.
"Dance for just one more motorcycle rally," I tell myself.

I was scared away from reading the sample by the initial trigger warning. Has anyone read this? Sorry, ya'll, I couldn't read the sample for this one. The reviews are great, though, and the second one releases this month. Drop me a line if you've read it; I'd love to know if the warning makes it sound worse than it truly is!

Hell hath no fury like a shifter scorned.
Three years ago, a darkly handsome stranger stole my heart. After one night together, I was certain I’d found my fated mate—until he rejected me and disappeared like a shadow.
I never told anyone about that night. I shoved the shattered pieces of my soul into a locked box and pretended I'd never met Kian.
But when a witch whispers a dire warning in my ear one day, everything changes.
Because I don’t just have one mate. I have three.
Feral shifters, she calls them.
Wild, untamed, and fueled by darkness, created by a magic no one has ever seen before.
These three dangerous, psychotic monsters could tear apart the world as we know it, unless I hunt them down and stop them first.
They say all's fair in love and war... but sometimes love is war.
Rejected Mate is the first book in the Feral Shifters series, a reverse harem paranormal shifter romance. It contains cursing, violence, anti-hero alpha males, steamy sex, and a badass heroine who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty.
Magic always comes with a cost.
For Lena, a mage in Rivaini’s College, that cost has always been great. Almost too much. It's why she refuses to cast spells when she can. But fate and destiny won’t wait for her. It will come whether she’s ready or not.
And she won’t be ready, because when she gets involved in magic, bad things tend to happen. Death, an uncontrollable fire…oh, and black magic. Forbidden magic that was outlawed in Rivaini centuries ago. If the King or the High Enchanter catches wind of what she’s capable of, her execution will be swift. She knows that.
Still, somehow Lena happens to stumble across an ancient tomb of heroes. Even worse, she accidentally raises the entire crypt in a fit of uncontrollable magic. Most end up being nothing more than skeletons, but two are more.
As in, handsome and practically naked more. Tamlen and Valerius. Enemies from a time long past, but together they make her feel things she never thought she’d feel. Normal, loved, desired. Having thralls, being a necromancer—not something Lena wants. Tamlen and Valerius? They’re a different story. She hungers for them, and she’ll have them. Both of them.
Maybe together they can stop the ancient being whose eyes are set on Lena, the old god who will bring nothing but death and destruction in its wake.
Spells and Necromancy is the first in a trilogy of Unfortunate Magic. It is a fast-burn Reverse Harem romance and contains explicit sexual scenes, along with some M/M elements. It is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.
