Happy Friday!
I hope you are all safe and well and are settling in for a great weekend.
The theme of the day is bad-ass female leads. This includes anything from a warrior, assassin, savior, or a woman who knows her power. I hope you can find something new in the books below.

Be well, and happy reading!

My life changed forever the night I died. I’d like to think that that’s where the story begins, but the truth is it began the moment I was born.
It turns out I’m a phoenix, and the seven deadly sins? They exist in the form of ancient and powerful stones.
Once pillars of virtue, the stones are now corrupt. It’s up to the Guardian Royals, a group of four powerful dragon princes, to retrieve the stones from the monsters hell-bent on destroying the world. Whoever holds all seven stones controls the realms.
That’s where I come in. Only a phoenix can transform the stone’s powers back to good and restore harmony.
If I fail, all hell will break loose and I really don’t want to be responsible for the apocalypse.
Good thing I have my dragons to help me.
Mateo, the alpha and True Shifter, determined to fight the desire building between us. Hart, the man with the wicked mouth intent on claiming me first. Arren and Vale, the fire and ice twins. One's a healer with soulful eyes and dark secrets. The other's an assassin with a cold heart and a cruel mouth. All of them want to protect me.
Then there’s Brock. Not a Royal Dragon. He’s my ex, and I’m bound to him. I’d gladly sever the ties if it didn’t mean he had to die. I may be desperate, but I’m not heartless. My dragons, on the other hand? Brock better watch his back.
If you love royal dragons, steamy scenes, and a female heroine who learns to embrace *ALL* her powers, then slip inside the word of the Guardian Royals.

Wowza, this kicked off with a bang and I'm on chapter 14 before I knew it.
Revolution Inferno Series, Book 1
A reverse harem dystopian novel.
Scorched earth will be the least of their problems when she’s through with them.
My entire life has been spent in a cage.
I’m the only one of my kind. A triple threat.
They keep me locked away, drawing my unique blood to transfuse into others so they may possess my skills.
I’m too valuable to be set free or used as the assassin I’ve trained as since I was three.
I am not a vessel.
I am not simply a bag of blood.
I am a human being—female—and we are dying out.
But I will fight until my last breath for the freedom I finally grasp.
And those who betray me will wish they were never created.
I am Haina, a triple threat Hellcat, the Angel of Death, and I will build my army, and together we will light the fire of revolution and rise from the ashes to start a fair and just new world ruled by the most compassionate, the most honest, and the most powerful: women.
Notes from the author
* Multiple POVs and first person.
* This is a MFMM romance. There are no MM romantic scenes or MM romances.
* This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. There is no cheating, no cliffhanger (to their romance arc) and definitely a happy ending.
* There is described past torture and graphic killing in this book. Reader discretion is advised.
* Book 2 will follow four new characters, as will Book 3, with the series arc coming to an end in Book 3.
* Please note that this book is set in a post-apocalyptic world where not only has eighty percent of the human population died, but the ice caps have melted, the oceans have warmed and the geographical landscape of the world as we know it has changed due to the drastic rise of sea levels. The author did consult with an environmental and climate specialist to see what the world is projected to look like in 400 years, but some creative liberties have been taken to enhance the story.
No man would ever own me again.
A simple promise I’d made to myself after escaping a brutal childhood of abuse and being trained to enact violence on unblessed witches. Since that moment, I had managed to survive on the streets by successfully pickpocketing.
Unfortunately, after years of hiding, the monster who starred in all of my nightmares was closer than ever and I was faced with only one option - seeking refuge at the Dark Imaginarium Academy.
Filled with the elite witches of our society, I should have expected to run into some of my previous targets and that normally wouldn’t have been a problem. It wasn’t like they’d known I’d stolen from them.
Except for my last hit.
What I stole from him was something I would never forget because it was literally embedded in my chest. Yeah, he was a bit upset about that one... as in acting absolutely psychotic. Except he's not the only one...
A blood witch who has an addiction to my taste.
A lunar witch who takes pleasure in trying to scare me into submission.
An unblessed that wants to dissect me, literally.
A shadow witch that relishes in marking up my body to show ownership.
These men want to claim me, own me, and the treasure that I now possess, but I would never break the promise I made to myself.
But when my past follows me right into the place I considered a safe haven, I find that these psychos may be the exact key to getting rid of my problem forever. The only problem? These men are convinced that I've never experienced the type of horror that would be required for that to happen, that they have to protect me from it. What they don’t realize?
Killing left a stain on the soul and mine was pitch black.
Lunar Witch features characters that are all 18+. This is not a high school academy book and the contents are intended for mature audiences. This book includes violence, mature content, PTSD, flashbacks of abuse, and sex. There is no bullying from the harem, just psychotic men trying to claim their girl.
Lunar Witch is book one of three in the Phases of the Moon series, which is set within the shared universe of Dark Imaginarium Academy. All series can be read independently, but characters have crossovers and it is highly encouraged to read all within the universe to understand the world in its entirety.
Series within the universe:
Phases of the Moon by M. Sinclair
The Creatures We Crave by R.L. Caulder
The Storm Dragons’ Mate by M. Sinclair (Coming soon)
Blood Oath by R.L. Caulder (Coming soon)
I never thought I'd be spending my early twenties imprisoned...
When I was betrayed by the men I trusted most in the world, the consequences were severe. All I've thought about since then is getting my revenge on the men who broke my heart.
Only, when I get free, I realize I have to play nice or my dreams will be destroyed.
All I've ever wanted is to graduate from the Guild of Assassins and now two of the men I hate are my competition. And the other? My mentor and teacher.
The wolf, the demon, and the vampire all have an unusual obsession with me. I can't tell if their true motives are to protect me or to destroy me, but when dark secrets and terrifying enemies end up at our doorstep, we'll have to work together or fall together.
MERCY'S REVENGE is a steamy paranormal reverse harem with a kickbutt heroine who is way too stubborn for her own good, and three smoking hot supernatural men that can't get enough of her. So, be warned!
I’ve been different all my life: always something to hide. But that was only magic. Now … I’ve never had a secret this big before.
Werewolves know a thing or two about secrets. I thought I had it bad, visiting my sister in England and going to a spellcasters’ conference behind her back. Turns out werewolves have been hiding here the whole time. And now they’re being murdered.
How was I supposed to say no when I was the one human—one outsider, one witch—they asked for help in finding the killer? A simple scry and I’d be back to my vacation. But the pack had other ideas.
Between Zar’s talk of moonlit beach strolls, Isaac’s charm, Jason’s kindness, Andrew’s fast tongue, and even that bad boy thing Kage and Jed have going on, catching a killer could be the least of my problems.
Did I mention they’re gorgeous? They’re gorgeous. Didn’t know that was a werewolf thing.
The wolves say they’re here to protect me. Funny that I never needed it until they got me involved in hunting down a deranged serial killer.
So now this is my vacation. A single witch, six sexy werewolves, and a murderer on the loose. What could possibly go wrong?
This is Book 1 in The Witch and the Wolf Pack series.
Thoughts from Paige
I had no idea how many books were in this series, but I am really enjoying it. I'm beginning book 4 at the time of writing. It reminds me of the Kate Daniels series in that the FMC is helping to solve a crime, and there is an overarching problem in each book. Each book focuses on a specific issue/task. It is definitely more fantasy-focused, with the romance being second to the action, which I do tend to prefer in my fantasy reading. It is a SLOW SLOW burn, super duper slow. But it is exactly what I didn't know I wanted.
I'm not who you think I am.
My enemies aren't who you think they are.
Welcome to Wraithwood Academy.
My father is dead. And my mother's enemies smell opportunity. To save us both, I’ll have to navigate the troubled waters of Wraithwood Academy, seeking allies and outsmarting enemies among the heirs to the country's most powerful mage families.
The vicious, gorgeous Nightfeld brothers think they know me. Cly Redbriar, the weak daughter of a powerful father. A spoiled, scared little girl hiding behind her bodyguard. Nothing but a new plaything for the kings of Wraithwood.
They know nothing.
Because I’ve been forced to live a twisted lie.
See, I’m not really Cly Redbriar…
Note: This is a dark university age academy reverse harem novel with magic, mayhem, secret identities, slow burn romance, and a kick-ass heroine on a mission.
No cliffhanger guarantee! While this book is part of a larger tale, it tells a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end.

I LOVE this series. There are so many delicious themes, tropes, and character types that I cannot get enough. I'm not going to say much because I can't remember what happens in what book, and I don't want to spoil anything.
