It’s been a hot minute since we reviewed the process for our weekly Reverse Harem bestseller update. You may have never asked yourself how I come up with these books, but never fear! I’m going to enlighten you anyway.
Finding Reverse Harem bestsellers
The hunt for reverse harem bestsellers occurs once a day throughout the week. I review Amazon Best Seller lists periodically throughout the week. Finding bestsellers isn’t an exact science! Amazon updates the lists hourly, I think. So I may miss a book if it is only a best seller for a brief period.
There are a TON of Amazon Best Seller lists. I don’t review them all, so if a book appears in some obscure list (Like trauma and grief literature), chances are good that I won’t catch it. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason for how books can be classified. I try not to think about it too much; if I do, it irks me. I wish they’d add reverse harem as a romance subgenre. Sigh.
Tracking the trends
I update the number of weeks I’ve caught the book on an Amazon Best Seller list. The total week count as a best seller becomes a field you can search on our best seller page.
Highlighting new bestsellers
Our weekly Sunday post featured books that have not appeared on an Amazon Best Seller list (or that I haven’t caught before).
I will try to include the genre and some keywords in this post. I find the scroll bar thingy from the main page more useful at finding a new-to-me bestseller than the weekly post but to each their own. The scroll bar thingy (totally the official name) shows the image, genre, and keywords. Less is more for me!
Searching previous bestsellers
You can head over to the searchable best sellers page if you want more searchability for bestsellers. You can search by genre, media type, weeks on the best seller list, and keywords.
Whew, that’s a mouthful for the post today. So, without further ado, I present the new books on the Amazon Bestseller lists!
Be well, and happy reading!
Paige
