Assassins are sexy. Giving you a list of reverse harems with all assassins, a main character assassins, or at least 1 in the harem? Panty mind blowing. You know you think they’re hot, it’s okay. Raise that reader kink flag.
Alright, so what do we know about assassins. Are they good? Sometimes. Are they bad? Sometimes? Are they in that happy little grey area? Absolutely. They’re assassins. Their job is to assassinate, to kill their target. So, clearly the following books are going to involve action, weapons, fighting, sexy times, hard choices, good versus evil, and more. And if I haven’t already, I’m going to devour them. Why? I think they’re sexy. With any books that involve violence, use caution and check for trigger warnings in the user reviews and the blurb from the author. If you have triggers, HEED the warning. It’s there for that reason. This way readers know ahead of time if they shouldn’t read something that would cause them to have a negative feeling towards that book and/or its author. Moving on! As always, Happy Reading! -Quare Eligere
I just finished this series. It was a bittersweet ending. If you haven’t read this series, it’s a must! Sawyer, the mc female is our assassin. She is such a badass.
“Sawyer Matthews knows how to put one foot in front of the other, to keep moving while the nightmares haunt her, and her own failures taunt her. She’s become a master at doing awful things with good intentions, terrible things for the sake of those who need her. She’s long given up on being the hero, trying to find peace in no longer being the villain. When her past comes back and she finds herself caught by the International Magi Police Organization, she’ll have to revisit her own personal hells and finally confront the very monster that made her what she is. The very monster that has already killed her once before. Will the “dead” Magi assassin Shadow finally come out of the dark to begin a fight for a redemption she doesn’t believe she deserves? Or will her nightmares drag her back into the shadows that have defined her life? “ -Amazon
Another great completed series. This one involving dragon shifters and the power struggle between good and evil. Our assassin in this novel is one of the mc’s harem. Reven, the mysterious assassin. He gets bonus points because he’s a cranky asshole, which I find hot. He doesn’t want to be there, or part of the mc’s harem. Crank ass.
“I’ve spent my entire life running from my past and staying out of trouble. That’s how I’ve kept alive ever since my parents were killed by the Black Dragon, who’s ruled the world under her oppressive talons for as long as anyone can remember. But it’s hard to keep a low profile when four handsome strangers turn up in your village claiming you’re destined to save the world. According to them, they’ve been chosen by the gods to become elemental dragons—and I’m their mate. Which means one day I’ll be the most powerful dragon of all, able to control all four elements. Assuming I can unlock my powers first…by getting intimate with each of my sexy mates. Auric, the clever prince. Jasin, the cocky soldier. Slade, the protective blacksmith. Reven, the mysterious assassin. And me. We’re the only ones who can bring balance to the world and overthrow the Black Dragon—if she doesn’t tear us to shreds first.” -Amazon
This book is 126 pages so it’s a little short, but its worth it. I bought it as soon as Cece dropped it for sale. Yes, I realize i’m impatient.
“Good girls don’t hire assassins, but now they’re my only hope…
Money and a seemingly glamorous life can hide secrets, pain, and scars that run deeper than you’d believe from the smiling faces in my family photographs. Sometimes the wealthy thrive in the dark and destruction, and the only way to survive their corruption is through determination and grit. Good girls don’t hire assassins, luckily I was raised by the worst.
*Grit & Glamour is a Dark, Contemporary, Reverse-Harem Romance that deals with some darker themes that may trigger some readers.* *This is an updated version of the book, containing 17 chapters. (Around 200 pages in print.) Updated March 22nd 2019.*” -Amazon
The mc female is an assassin and a member of the resistance. This is book 1 in the beginning of a new series from Katie May. It was definitely not what I was expecting when I read it and decided to read it in one night. Sleep suffers to feed my reading addiction. I loved it though! It’s hilarious, and I loved the characters. I can’t wait
For hundreds of years, Nightmares have ruled the world. Descended from the Seven Deadly Sins, these supernatural creatures have enslaved and tortured the human race. I have lived my entire life fighting back against the monsters that have plagued this world. A deadly assassin and a member of the resistance, I only have one motto: kill or be killed. When The Damning commences – a fight to the death against the world’s most brutal serial killers, assassins, and torturers – a twist of fate finds me as one of the competitors. Despite my initial reluctance, I find myself eagerly participating.
But what I didn’t count on, however, were the seven princes:
Lupe, a Shifter descended from Wrath.
Devlin, a Genie descended from Greed.
Jax, a Vampire descended from Gluttony.
Killian, an Incubus descended from Lust.
Ryland, a Shadow descended from Pride.
Sebastian, a Mage descended from Sloth.
Dair, a Mermaid descended from Envy.
Our love could never be. I’m an assassin, and they are my targets. But who ever said I needed to follow the rules? If only I can survive The Damning…
This is a medium-burn reverse harem romance. Expect a kick-ass, snarky MC, seven swoon-worthy heroes, and a lot of bloodshed. This is book 1 in a series” -Amazon
An Academy of Assassins? Where do I sign up? This one’s on my TBR, but with those reviews this one made our list with no doubts.
Abandoned as a child and unable to remember her past, Morgan was raised as a hunter, one of an elite group of fighters sworn to protect humans from the dangerous paranormal creatures who invade our world…creatures such as herself. Her life changes the day she’s summoned to the Academy of Assassins, a school that trains witches and hunters to eradicate paranormals who prey on humans. Her first assignment—find and eliminate the killer who is using the Academy as their own personal hunting ground. As Morgan delves deeper into the investigation, she will need to dodge assassination attempts, avoid the distraction of romantic entanglements with the devilishly handsome security expert, Kincade, and his maddeningly overprotective teammates, while keeping the volatile magic in her blood concealed from those who would use it for their own purposes. When the danger increases and the school is threatened, Morgan must unearth her missing memories before someone finishes the job they started so long ago—killing her and unleashing a plague that will consume the world.
Meet the Assassins: Morgan, Kincade, Ascher, Ryder, Draven and Atlas.” – Amazon
Oh Raiden. It’s a damn good thing this character isn’t real. I’ve have to tough go of getting my husband to understand why I needed a harem. Let alone a vampire, who doubles as an assassin for hire. And March, he’s a hottie as well. Want to see? Check out CM’s The Bookish Batcave reader group on Facebook. She shared her inspiration.
“Um. Um. Um.
Are you reading this? If you are, I need your help. I was at a party; I was running; I fell. And get this—this is the part you’ll never believe—I fell down a rabbit hole. Like Alice in those old books. Except in those books, there wasn’t blood everywhere. In those books, the characters weren’t all male, attractive, and interested in me. Forget everything you know about the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, the March Hare …
This isn’t Wonderland; this is Underland. Violence, sex, drugs, and magic … that’s all there is in this place. There’s me, Allison, and there are the men that want me, the enemies that hunt me, and the darkness that’s quickly rolling in. And only I can stop it. So if you’re reading this, will you help me?
Please. I just want to escape this place and go … home.
ALLISON’S ADVENTURES IN UNDERLAND (Book 1 of 3 in the “Harem of Hearts” series) — is a full-length reverse harem/new adult/dark romance novel, a gritty retelling of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Don’t expect a children’s tale; these characters are nothing like their more innocent counterparts. This book contains: drugs, cursing, violence, sex … and love found in the darkest shadows.” – Amazon
Assassin? Serial Killer? Revenge Killer? Apples, and oranges.
“They took too much.
Left too little.
I had nothing to lose…until him.
I didn’t expect him. I didn’t want to fall in love.
But I can’t let him go. Logan Bennett makes the world a safer place.
He’s brilliant. He’s a hero. He locks away the sick and depraved.
But while he’s saving lives, I’m taking them. Collecting the debts that are owed to me. Ten years ago, they took from me. They left me for dead.
They should have made sure I stayed dead. Now I’m taking from them.
One name at a time. I’ve trained for too long. I’ve been patient.
I can’t stop now. Revenge is best served cold…
They never see me coming, until I paint their walls red. Logan doesn’t know how they hurt me. He doesn’t know about the screams they ignored. He doesn’t know how twisted that town really is. He just knows people are dying. He doesn’t know he’s in love with their killer. No one suspects a dead girl. And Logan doesn’t suspect the girl in his bed. They’re looking for a monster. Not a girl who loves red. Not a girl in love. I’m a faceless nightmare. At least until I tell them the story they’ve pretended never happened. But in the end, will Logan choose them? Or will we watch them burn together?

I love this book cover. And that the mc loves bacon. She’s a snarky, take no shit mc assassin. And…who doesn’t love bacon?!

“As an assassin of the Lifeless League, there are two rules I live by:
1. Never kill another hunter. 2. Obey orders.
When I find that my newest set of targets are branded with the Mark of the Hunter, I don’t know who I can trust anymore. I can’t take their lives without knowing why these mysterious men turned their backs on the League. A choice will have to be made eventually. Even if they refuse to make anything easy for me. The four brooding ex-assassins give me trials, training, and tests to study my unusual powers and prove myself as one of them. A deadly plan is now in place but they’ve all made one grave mistake: Underestimating me. Because I’m adding a third and final rule to my list:
3. Survive.” -Amazon

*********WE INTERRUPT YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BLOG POST PROGRAMMING BECAUSE LOOK IT! SADLY, THIS SEXY PIECE OF BOOK DOESN’T DROP UNTIL MAY 25TH***** Hey, A.J. Macey, can I have it now, please! Same beautiful author of Smoke & Wishes, which gave me serious book hard on.
“Hey b*tches, my name’s Kiera. You might know me as The Cat, famous cat burglar/thief. No? Well, let me give you a little insight into my life as of late. I was going about, minding my own damn business when the mob boss who runs most of the Reno underground sent an assassin after me. Crazy, yeah? Anyway, six months later the previously mentioned assassin is now my partner in crime when we get a job from the local motorcycle club, The Aces. All good and dandy, right? Wrong. They’re 1%ers, all three officers unbelievably attractive. Oh, yeah, the Vice President of the MC? That’s my asshole step-brother and let’s not even get started on the club’s suspicious Enforcer or the President who’s dripping in sexual swagger. With four sexy as f*ck men at my back, can I get the job done or will our explosive personalities cause us to be at each other’s throats? Oh, damn! Almost forgot in the thought of all the ruggedly attractive men, muscles, and tattoos that the rival MC, The Alloy Kings, are moving in and seem intent to take me down with the Aces. F*cking bastards. But I’m not the thief who became famous at 15 years old and survived the mob’s hell in my past just to lay down and take that, they won’t know what hit them. I’m The Cat, and soon enough, they’ll learn that I’ve got claws.

This book contains references involving PTSD, sexual assault recollections, abuse, and other themes that some readers may find triggering.” -Amazon
I’m sorry to include an unreleased book on this list, but TBR it, you know it sounds hella hot.
Alright. Not a fan of the cover, but it has a great premise. Reviews look good. Mc’s a badass assassin/spy.
“Born in battle, my birth brought peace. But peace is boring and so is the warlock I’m betrothed to.
Real Name: Aria Emanuele. Code Name: The Sapphire Scythe. Supe Status: First vampire/Succubus hybrid. Heir to the Aeternae clan.Military status: Top spy and assassin for the Universal Army.I’ve been running from my duties as the heir to the supe kingdom to marry Cade, my intended, and create more hybrid children for centuries. I’ve been playing soldier, spy, assassin, or whatever takes me close to the action instead. My parents and my people think I just need time to sow my royal oats, but I love this too much to give it up. Humans have brought themselves to World War Three. My mission in the Universal Army is to get close to the dictator who caused it. I already suspect he’s got a supe close to him, but I’m keeping it to myself for now. I want to do this myself. I had a mark close to Zimin, the dictator. My mission was simple. Extract information, then kill him. Something went horribly wrong that night. I wake up in a hotel room with a Lycan, a vamp, and a warlock. All trained assassins like me. Seems my dear parents sent them here. There’s also a little catch in there. According to the men in my hotel, nature has given me three mates instead of one. Nature and my parents expect me to pick. Nature has sick sense of humor and seems to know my horrible taste in men. There’s Ronric, the huge Irish Lycan, Rainer, the dark Egyptian Warlock, and Kalon, the swarthy Bulgarian vampire. I had a lot of fun in all three countries before swearing off men from any of those places and refusing to go back.” -Amazon
“Tricky, like a fox. As a kitsune—a fox shifter—I have to be to survive.
Sometimes it seems like the whole world wants me dead. Ironic, considering that’s my job—to kill people. Thea Hunt, professional assassin at your service. But that’s not my only vice. I’m also attracted to the darkest denizens of the supernatural world, the men I should run from instead of fall for. Men like Mikhail, the leader of the assassins’ guild, Bennett, the local alpha wolf, and Nix, the skinwalking coyote that’s likely to bring the entire shifter community to their knees. And then there are my exes—Riot and Fin. Somebody’s cursing old gods, stripping shifters of their ability to change. And a trapped shifter doesn’t last long without losing their mind. Nix knows; Mikhail wants me to kill him; Bennett wants me dead. Oh, and Riot and Fin are determined to make my life a living hell. As the youngest kitsune to ever get nine tails, I should be able to trick my way out of this one, right? Right?!
THE NINE is the first book in the FOXFIRE BURNING series. It is a full-length reverse harem urban fantasy/paranormal romance with a spunky kitsune (fox shifter) main character and her six love interests: a vampire, a werewolf, a coyote shifter, and a few mysteries. This book includes cursing, violence, steamy scenes, and a whole lot of magic. A book with some f/f in it. We usually get sword fights. I do love a good sword fight though. Lol.
MC female is the assassin. If only she didn’t have such a bleedin heart and actually assassinated all of her targets…
“I’m the best-known assassin in my little corner of the world. But what they don’t know is my secret – my big, bleeding heart. I don’t actually kill every contract I take. When an orc, betrayed by his people, shows up on my sister’s monitor with a truly impressive amount of credits attached to his name, I know I have to take the job before someone else does. Even if it means I have to break him out of prison. Getting into prison is only the first challenge, and probably one of the easiest. Now I have to convince him to trust me – and not just him, but the guys in with him. Von was the leader of a city before he was betrayed, and the look in his eyes haunts me. The leonine Zazz is fun, but I’m pretty sure he has just as many secrets as I do. And Cavarra, the troll… I’m pretty sure he’d just as soon stab me as look at me. Getting them out should foster some trust, but building a bond goes both ways. Right around the time spec ops starts shooting at me, I realize I may be in too deep. But I’m a professional. I will get this job done – hopefully before it blows my cover, or even ends my life.”-Amazon
Our hitman/assassin/former sniper isn’t mentioned in the blurb. Our heroine used to kill people, but she pretty much leaves it up to him now. Questionable morale, my lady. Let’s hope he’s getting some booty for having to do all of the work. Lol.
“One female criminal genius. Three brilliant, passionate detectives who stand in her way. Let the seduction begin…
My family expected me to play sacrificial lamb for their supernatural cult. Through a desperate bargain with a demonic fiend, I escaped—into a criminal underworld that saw me as easy prey. I’ve proven them wrong a thousand times over. These days, what I want, I get, by whatever means necessary. Now my fiendish friend is coming to collect its fee: my soul. I don’t intend to pay. Unfortunately, the key to my freedom lies just beyond my reach. To steal it before my time runs out, I’ll need to con the finest investigative minds in London into executing a perilous heist. Sherlock Holmes. John Watson. Garrett Lestrade. Each at the top of their game; each with a weakness I can exploit. Each so passionate both in the field and between the sheets. I answer to no one and I left my conscience behind years ago, but the more time I spend with them, the more the edges of my steeled heart soften. We could rule the world if we worked together. But these men will never see the real me as anything but a villain. When the chips are down, I have to betray them—or I’ll lose myself to a greater horror than they could believe exists.

Book 3 in The Masters’ Admiralty Series. This one is a Menage. I would recommend books 1 & 2 because there is a lot of back story, and because they’re great.
“While on the trail of a madman, Antonio Starabba finds something unexpected—the killer’s next victims, tortured, in pain, but alive. Leila and Karl are both members of The Masters’ Admiralty, the same powerful secret society Antonio is sworn to defend as a security officer—aka assassin. Rescuing them means letting the killer escape, and once they’re safe, Antonio is overcome with a deep need to protect them, and takes them to one of his family’s villas to rest and recover. As the weeks pass feelings develop between the three of them, but there’s a problem. The killer is still out there, eluding capture, and he’s made it clear that his next victims will be Leila, Karl…and Antonio.” – Amazon
